  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Just a small correction and you have it right: "
Name a country that has been improved by widespread Islamic immigration.

Thoughts on the Muslim rape gangs in the UK?

Thoughts on the significant increase in rapes and sexual assaults in Sweden and many other European countries that correlate with the vast number of Muslims entering those countries (almost exclusively illegally as well)?

I mean really, the writing is on the wall written in the blood of sexually assaulted women, murder victims, victims of terrorism and the rest of an extensive list, some folks are just so determined to be 'empathetic' to the detriment of their own country and culture that they refuse to see it.

Mmhmm....

And if we count every instance of religion-inspired violence (and things we in the western world would constitute as extremism) that takes place in the Muslim world, and itemize it the same way as the article you linked did, you think it would total up to more than 16 over a period of 36 years?

Hint:
Somalia, Afghanistan, Brunei, Iran, Pakistan, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and Yemen all have the death penalty for "homosexual behavior"...

Point of reference:
In 2024, a Houthi court in Yemen sentenced nine men to death on sodomy charges, seven by stoning and two by crucifixion, while 23 others received prison terms of six months to twenty years for related charges. A month later, a separate Yemeni court sentenced 13 students to death for "spreading homosexuality,"

If that all happened in the course of a year...you think perhaps, maybe just maybe, that ideology has a record on human rights that's worse than that of Christian countries?

Note: those are state sponsored actions, not "actions by randos without the support of the US government".

Who was the last gay person or woman who was sentenced by the US government to public stoning or hanging for running afoul of extreme fundamentalist Christian norms? ...I'll wait.

That's what confuses me about 'Queers for Palestine'. There was a gay man in West Bank. Was. They beheaded him.

Turkeys voting for Thanksgiving.

If you want to made a statement of fact rather than opinion, I'd advise that you quote your sources so that we can all see them in context. Like this:

'During 2015, the year in which Sweden took the largest number of asylum seekers, the number of reported sex crimes and rapes actually decreased by 11% and 12% respectively compared with 2014 - 18,100 sex offences were reported to the police, of which 5,920 were classified as rape.

Preliminary figures for 2016 show a rise, bringing the latest figures close to 2014 values. Susanne Lekengard says the rise of the number of sexual molestation cases in 2016 is due to a higher number of reported cases of sexual harassment amongst teenagers at summer music festivals.

According to Bra, the number of reported rape cases in proportion to the population in the municipality of Malmo has not seen a sharp increase since the biggest group of refugees arrived.

Reported rapes per 100,000 inhabitants peaked in 2008, 2010 and 2011, and the figures were higher for those pre-refugee influx years than in 2015 and 2016.

Sweden does not publish the ethnicity or national background of perpetrators of any crime, including sexual offences.'

Now it's your turn to post your source.

July 6, 2026 President Trump posts a video of kindergartners at a graduation ceremony at the Gateway STEM Academy in St Paul, Minnesota requoting the bigoted comment “Public school in St. Paul, Minnesota. Every girl is in a hijab … in kindergarten.” Thousands of replies piled on with further vile attacks against five-year olds.

“Imagine if these kids were children who were wearing yarmulkes,” she said. “Imagine the reaction people would have. We would all be angry because we should be, because they are just as American as anyone else. And these kids who are wearing a hijab are just as American as the child who goes to a Catholic school that wears a particular uniform.” Minnesota state senator Z. Mohamed.

Someone would need to be pretty naive to think that “Public school in St. Paul, Minnesota. Every girl is in a hijab … in kindergarten" is another way of saying 'Ah, look. Don't those kids look so darn cute!'

It goes on to say 'Thousands of replies piled on with further vile attacks against five-year olds'. Attacks for what reason do you think?

Thoughts on the significant increase in rapes and sexual assaults in Sweden

This does not seem to be immigration related.

There has been a general increase in recorded Swedish sex crimes since the start of the 1980s. This seems to be tied to:

Better reporting of sexual assault by victims (ie, not ignoring the problem)
Changes in the legal process of how sexual crimes are recorded
New laws broadening the definition of what constitutes sexual assault
Increased willingness to investigate and prosecute sex crimes

and many other European countries that correlate with the vast number of Muslims entering those countries (almost exclusively illegally as well)?

Do they? Which ones?

Can you show the correlation?

Can you then show that correlation equals causation?

When you look at sex crime rate data, Muslim countries tend to have much lower rates per capita that 'Christian' countries of similar developmental levels.

I’m happy to inform you that a president using their right to free speech to go on social media to complained about how immigrants chose to dress their own children doesn’t fall under religious persecution in the USA.

What illegal immigration to Sweden are you talking about? People are allowed to enter the country to apply for asylum, you know.

This might be interesting also for you, @Gene2memE and @Bradskii. Just as an FYI.

Sex crimes and the legislation around them has been investigated.

Analysis for the time between 2005-2017, Indikatorer på sexualbrottsutvecklingen 2005–2017 and it's summary in english, https://bra.se/download/18.3808406a...5_Indicators_of_trends_in_sexual_offences.pdf

"In Brå’s assessment, the external factors that have been studied
indicate that the increasing trends in both police and survey data at the
end of the period are primarily the result of a combination of societal
changes in the ways people communicate and socialise with one another
and an increased reporting rate."

With regards to demographic changes:

"However, one demographic change that does coincide with the steep
increase in minor sexual offences noted in the SCS in 2015–2016 is the
extensive influx of refugees in 2015. Since there has been a substantial
public debate on possible links between the flow of refugees in 2015 and
the increase in sexual offences reported to the police and in the SCS, Brå
has conducted a number of analyses in an attempt to answer the question.
These analyses should be viewed as tentative, and they are necessarily in
part based on uncertain estimates. Having said this, the analyses do not
indicate that the flow of refugees in 2015 could account for anything more
than a small part of the increase in offences reported in the SCS in 2016."

From the main report (Sorry, but I couldn't find it english):

1784716476801.png

My translation of the figure caption:
Figure 27. Change in procent in the number reported sex crimes per kommun (our smallest administrative unit, my addition) (excluding the kommuns in Stockholms län (län or region is our middle administrative unit, my addition)) the years 2013-2014 compared to the years 2016-2017 (y-axis) and the proportion of the inhabitants in the kommun that under 2015 were registered in Migrationsverkets (the migration agency) reception system (x-axis).

There is basically no effect that can be seen.

There have been no breakdown with regards to religion, to my knowledge (and there were christian syrians that fled to Sweden).

Analysis from 2018 to the present (after the new consent law), https://bra.se/download/18.f3ee57c194d84be4e916238/1744111393667/2025_3_Application and consequences of the consent law.pdf

"The review of the reports indicates a fairly even distribution between cases
in which the rape is said to have been committed by violence or threats,
cases where the perpetrator is said to have taken advantage of the victim's
particularly vulnerable situation, and ‘new’ cases where the offence solely
consists in the victim’s non-consensual participation in the sexual act.4 Each
accounts for about one third. In real terms, this means that the increase in
the number of reported rapes since the 2018 legislative amendments is
entirely made up of 'new' cases. The number of reported violent rapes, i.e.,
more 'traditional' rapes, appears to be slightly lower in the period under
review, 1 July 2022 to 30 June 2023, than it was in 2016.5"

Sorry for the lost formatting for the footnotes.

I mean really, the writing is on the wall written in the blood of sexually assaulted women, murder victims, victims of terrorism and the rest of an extensive list, some folks are just so determined to be 'empathetic' to the detriment of their own country and culture that they refuse to see it.

Don't overstate your case.

Per the standards established by American Christians anything other than being given pride of place to the exclusion of all others combined with effusive praise and catering to any demand is persecution.

“Per the standards established by muslims anything other than being given pride of place to the exclusion of all others combined with effusive praise and catering to any demand is Islamophobia.”

See how your statement sounds when you make a sweeping generalisation on an entire group and reduce them to a caricature of absolute dominance.

The system is unfit for purpose.

No one travelling through half a dozen safe countries is fleeing anything. In the UK, ours arrive by France, discarding their documentation prior or on the way.

Accurate. It sounds accurate.

The Muslim organizations were paying attention while the American Christians, evangelical protesters mostly, were sobbing over every perceived slight or imagined persecution. They took notes and did likewise.

So what made you call it illegal? So you don't like it, that doesn't make it illegal per se. There have been historically been poles literally rowing across the Baltic sea, they are not illegal immigrants when they step ashore as long as they apply for asylum at their earliest convenience. Today, poles would just take the ferry.
