CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

have been. sent so. that you might recover sight. and might be full. of HOLY SPIRIT.
And. immediately. scales. as it were recover sight instantly, and having stood up he was BAPTIZED. !!
Paul was baptized by what verse 17. says , TO BE FULL OF HOLY. SPIRIT AND B THERE WAS NOT any water //. HYDOR
THERE AT ALL. !!

(Act 9:18) Immediately there fell from his eyes something like scales, and he received his sight at once; and he arose and was baptized.
Why does the word for water need to be there? Ananias couldn't baptise anyone with the Holy Spirit - that is God's work. Here is another instance where no word for water is used:
(1Co 1:14) I thank God that I baptized none of you except Crispus and Gaius,
(1Co 1:15) lest anyone should say that I had baptized in my own name.
(1Co 1:16) Yes, I also baptized the household of Stephanas. Besides, I do not know whether I baptized any other.
Was Paul saying that He had baptised Crispus, Gaius and the household of Stephanus, in the Holy Spirit?

The Greek word for LEST IS ME in. the Greek. and is just one of four with OU , me , un -mi.

And. in MARK 16:16 says this , He who believes and is BAPTIZED (. No WATER. //HYDOR ). will. be saved BUT he that does
NOT. believe will be COMDEMNED .
I. say that this BAPTISM. is BAPTISM WITH HOLY HOLY. !!
AND in. verse 17 will cast out. out DEMONS. , they. will speak with NEW TONGUES. and they will take up SERPENTS

In Acts 8, Philip preached the Gospel to the Ethiopian eunuch, which would have included, "believe and be baptised". If baptism meant "with the Holy Spirit", why would the eunuch say, "here is water. What is stopping me from being baptised?" unless it was understood that baptism involved being immersed in water. And if it did mean "the Holy Spirit", why did Philip not correct him, seeing as he himself was being guided by the Holy Spirit? Instead, he baptises the eunuch in water, because that is what the Scriptures mean regarding "baptism" unless it specifically states otherwise.

And in Acts 1:5 we will see that WATER BAPTISM. still in being used and has NOTING to do with the
BODY OF CHRIST as Paul was not yet SAVED !!
And by the end of ACTS 28 Israel has been set ASIDE and ISA 6:1-18. !!

in. COL 1:25. of which I become a servant according to the DISPENSATION of God the one having been given

But quoting other parts of Acts doesn't answer Prodromos's question about Philip and the Ethiopian in Acts 8. It reminds me of how you replied to my question about Paul baptising Crispus, Gaius and the household of Stephanas. You talked of Gaius being a travelling companion of Paul, and didn't mention his baptism.
