CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
Democratic candidates: You be the judge.

Fetterman in no way compares to the candidates in the video. Although he did have a bout with depression and a stroke to deal with, early on , he more recently has become one of the few voices of reason on the Democratic side. Do you call him crazy because he calls out his own party?

Show us a comparable list of incompetent candidates in one race for one office on the Republican side. I have fifth grade grandchildren more articulate than the group from Maine.

The main question was actually were this group of candidates qualified or the best the Democrats could come up with in Main. Pointing out random Republicans or Libertarians from the past is only a distraction from the point. I am no Susan Collins fan but she must be very pleased with this lineup.

This is classic Jesse Watters just cherry-picking the absolute bottom of the barrel to score cheap points and put on some high-ratings theater. The Republican side has plenty of its own cringe fringe running.

Jessie Watters is not the story here! In Main they ousted a woman abusing communist and replaced him with as you described “ the absolute bottom of the barrel “. You would be hard pressed to find a group of Republican candidates in one race to compare with this lineup in Maine.

I would be hard pressed to accurately describe what is happening in Maine. Take 10 min and see for yourself. If you force me to describe in one word what the video exposes I would use “insanity”. You decribe them in your own words. You wouldn’t believe anything I said any way.
