How well do you guys understand the Book of Revelation? I have met many believers in my over 20 years of serving the Lord on the mission field. And yet the vast majority of those I have encountered would struggle to summarize the essence of the Book, not to mention its various specific details. I think one big reason for this is the fact that most have never bothered to read the book straight through, from start to finish; and hence their understanding of the arc the book takes readers on is quite limited.
I recently did a video, where I do a general overview over the book, taking more of a bird's eye view toward the major themes and concepts. It's fascinating to me how the whole book fits neatly into three main categories: the first 7 chapters dealing with critiques for the churches and setting the scene, the next 7 chapters dealing with the seals and the Tribulation, and the final several chapters dealing with the wrath of God, the battles of Armageddon/Gog & Magog, and the new heaven and new earth. So poetic in the wisdom of God!
