Only the Word that Christ speaks to us brings us (who believe in what He says) an age-lasting life (aka “everlasting life”). We believe that it is truly Christ, the Son of the living God, speaking to us His words of life.
We who hear and believe that it is the voice of the Son of God speaking the Word of Truth pass from death unto life NOW in this mortal body which shall not perish but have an age-lasting life….living to the very last day of this age where then this mortal body (having never mortally perished) will then put on immortality.
Joh 5:24-25
(24) Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting (AGE-LASTING) life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life.
(25) Verily, verily, I say unto you, The hour is coming, and now is, when the dead shall hear the voice of the Son of God: and they that hear shall live.
The “word of men” that many are hearing and receiving in the man-based churches does not bring life to those who keep the man-based church doctrines and commandments.
Their “word” is perishable as those who receive their word (the perishable seed) mortally perish to the grave.
MANY keep the perishable seed which does not benefit them at all. It does not impart an age-lasting life to the hearers (who keep the perishable seed) of the man-based churches because it is NOT Christ speaking to them.
They are listening to the spirit/breath of the antichrist instead and are being led astray down the broad way that leads to their mortal destruction.
They are being deceived by MANY who come in His name/authority (supposedly) and say that they are the Christ….that it is Christ speaking through them. They want you to hear them and their preaching whose source is supposedly the true Christ…but it is not THE true Christ speaking through them. It is the antichrist speaking and deceiving MANY to go down the wrong path. All that came before the true Christ are thieves and robbers who only come to kill, steal and destroy.
Mat 24:4-5
(4) And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you.
(5) For many shall come in my name, saying, I am THE Christ; and shall deceive many.
But those who hear and believe in the Word of Truth as preached by the true Christ shall never mortally perish.
Jesus sends out His messengers (the brothers) to speak His living words of spirit to His people. It is His voice speaking through the brothers that He sends out….and we are to let brotherly love continue and be hospitable towards them.
The souls of the believers are purified in the “obeying”…that is, ATTENTIVE HEARING…of the Truth through the Spirit unto unfeigned love of the brothers. The Spirit of Truth speaks to them and they hear and believe.
The “brothers” here in 1st Peter 1:22 are those brothers sent out by the true Christ to speak His Word of Truth to their hearing ears. They hear the Spirit of Truth and believe that it is Christ speaking to them through the “brothers” of which they show love towards. This love must be true love (with a pure heart).....not feigned love.

1Pe 1:22-25
(22) Seeing ye have purified your souls in obeying (ATTENTIVE HEARING) the truth through the Spirit unto unfeigned love of the brethren, see that ye love one another with a pure heart fervently:
The hearing and believing of the Word of Truth as preached by the true Christ imparts life ….an AGE-LASTING life…to those who are born again of the imperishable Seed…the true Word of God. They keep His Seed...the imperishable Seed.. within them. They keep His Word that the true Christ preaches to them.
(23) Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth INTO THE AGE.
(24) For all flesh is as grass, and all the glory of man as the flower of grass. The grass withereth, and the flower thereof falleth away:
The Word of the Lord endures INTO THE AGE. Our mortal flesh (all flesh is as grass) shall also endure into this current age by the belief of the Word of Truth that is preached to us by the true Christ. The belief of the true Word of God as preached by the true Christ, the Son of the living God, brings our mortal bodies life....an age-lasting life. We who believe in Him shall not mortally perish but have an age-lasting life.
(25) But the word of the Lord endureth INTO THE AGE. And this is the word which by the gospel is preached unto you.
Only the true Christ, the Son of the living God, has the words of AGE-LASTING life. His preaching of the Word of Truth imparts that life if we hear and believe in it.
The preaching of the many antichrists (instead-of Christs) does not bring life.
Joh 6:66-69
(66) From that time many of his disciples went back, and walked no more with him.
(67) Then said Jesus unto the twelve, Will ye also go away?
(68) Then Simon Peter answered him, Lord, to whom shall we go? thou hast the words of eternal (AGE-LASTING) life.
We believe and are sure that we hear Christ, the Son of the living God…and we receive His Word of Truth that He speaks to us and brings us life.
(69) And we believe and are sure that thou art that Christ, the Son of the living God.
Those who will hear Him and believe it is the true Christ the true Son of the true living God speaking to them will honor the Son. He that honors the Son honors the Father. Whoever does not honor the Son (not believing that it is Him speaking) does not honor the Father who sent Him. The wicked will not believe that it is Christ speaking to them and will not believe in His words....His preaching of the true Word of God.. The wicked will react with evil towards His words and those who will preach to them His words....His true words.

(23) That all men should honour the Son, even as they honour the Father. He that honoureth not the Son honoureth not the Father which hath sent him.
The words of the true Christ are spirit and are life.

(63) It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life.
