This is why that photo released of McConnell & Chao - with a current newspaper on his lap for proof of date - means only that he is technically alive. That vacant look is reminiscent of Ms. Schiavo's. Can he speak or respond? Whoever knows isn't saying.

It's time for a special election. Mitch ain't serving as senator.

The say McConnell fell and has mild pneumonia. But for mild pneumonia, they give pills and send you home. If he's still in the hospital, it's much worse. If he was getting better. He would be getting out of the hospital. And going home or rehab places.

Yes, this is the picture I saw earlier. Either they did this for a picture. Or he's about to go home. Which I hope he's ready to go home. It doesn't mean he's not still sick. It just means . He's not bad enough to stay in the hospital. Or they can be taking him home for hospice. Or he's doing better.

I think Laura Loomer is to extreme on the right. With that being said. He looks like he's getting ready to go home. That's what they do when someone about to go hom. It doesn't mean he's well enough to go back to work. My dad came home with Nephrostomy tube's in both kidney, Kidney dialysis 3 times a week. And more. The hospital won't keep someone there for a month, if they're brain dead. They would in up in a hospice.

McConnell has been absent from work since June 14, which means that, as of Tuesday, he’ll have been gone for an entire month. He has already pocketed $14,500 of his $174,000 annual congressional salary—which will continue to grow as his return date remains unclear—all while not showing up to vote.

Meanwhile, Kean was gone for much longer, missing every House vote from March 5 through June 30. That’s a 117-day absence, which would amount to roughly $43,500 of paid leave.

And while they pocketed that taxpayer-funded paid leave, both McConnell and Kean have voted to screw average workers out of the same benefit.

Gov. Andy Beshear (D-Ky.) is prepared for a legal challenge should any of the state’s seats in Congress become vacant for any reason.

As questions swirled over the weekend about U.S. Sen. Mitch McConnell’s month-long hospitalization, Beshear said if the longtime Republican were unable to complete his term, he’d likely challenge how his vacancy is filled.

“If we end up there, and I hope we don’t,” the governor said in an interview Sunday on MSNOW’s PoliticsNation. “There’s at least going to be probably a disagreement.”

“At first [they tried] to say they could submit a list of three people to me from the Republican Party and I’d have to pick,” he said. “Now they say I can’t fill a vacancy, but I’d have to call a special election.”

However, Beshear says these laws may violate a provision within the Kentucky Constitution.

Interesting. McConnell’s “proof of life” photo was released shortly after this segment. Andy Beshear says the Republican legislature changed the law to block him from appointing a Senator if a vacancy occurs. He argues the Kentucky Constitution gives him that authority,

That depends on if it's a remake of the movie, or if the remake is based on the book. In the book the age limit is 21, and they go to a sleep shop rather than explode in Carousel.

Writing a book for people not yet dead (should they live within the story) is easier to sell than a movie that tells the same tale, as the 18-35 crowd was the vast bulk of that movie-dollar.
