The Bible interprets the Bible, where people go wrong is trying to re-interpret it. Why it says do not lean on ones own understanding Pro3:5-6 let God through His word Psa 119:105 be the light to our path

Its not the burnt offerings becomes prayers, its showing what the literal always represented in God's heavenly Temple. Literal sacrifices ended at the Cross Dan9:27 Heb 10:1-10 because they could never take away sins why Jesus had to become our Sacrificial Lamb but that doesn't mean all sacrifices ended Rom12:1 Heb13:15-16 1 Peter2:5 The Bible tells us what everything means, we just have to allow the Bible to interpret the Bible.

The eunuchs that Isaiah was prophesying to would not have been able to enter the Assembly of the Lord.

Deuteronomy 23 - He who is emasculated by crushing or cutting shall not enter the assembly of the Lord.

Today that's not a problem.

1 Corinthians 12 - For as the body is one and has many members, and all the members of the body, being many, are one body; so also is Christ. 13 For in one Spirit we were all baptized into one body, whether Jews or Greeks, whether bond or free; and were all given to drink into one Spirit.

Everyone is welcome in the body of Christ, regardless of body condition. Another change!

Thats right, why Isaiah was a Prophet who spoke of things to come ... the invitation was not just native Israel, it was open to everyone who responds to God's call under the same terms Isa 56:6 For there is no partiality with God. Rom2:11 so learning lessons of why God's chosen people fell, so we do not do the same thing is important. Heb4:11

God has a plan and purpose for everything. God's chosen people were to be the light to the world, so it wasn't as if God's will changed, people stopped doing God's will so based on what people do, God has to change directions, that doesn't mean His will changes, why its the everlasting gospel Rev14:6-12 fear God Exo20:20 Ecc12:13-14 , give Him Glory, worship the God who has the power to make Exo20:11 Rev14:7 come out of the false teachings taught by all the nations Rev14:8 and keep God's commandments Rev14:12 God's version Exo20:6 Exo31:18 Deut 4:13 Ecc3:14. This is the theme throughout the Bible and man constantly wants to revert back to their fear of God being taught by the commandments of man Isa 29:13 Mat15:3-14 instead of fear God and keeping His commandments Ecc12:13-14 because what God does is forever Ecc3:14 Exo32:16 Exo31:18

When you said "...holdfast My covenant", I assumed you meant the New Covenant. Did you mean the Covenant that God made with Israel when he brought them out of Egypt?

Actually, I didn’t say it, God did Isa 56:1 and it’s an everlasting covenant for the people of God, there is never a time when God does not want His people to not do righteousness, not join themselves to the LORD or serve Him. At any rate, this is not the main purpose of this thread, to discuss the details of the covenant, the OP is about the pattern of specific Scriptures , as I asked previously, if we can please stick with the topic of the OP. If you wish to discuss the details of God’s covenant my suggestion would be to start a new post, so that topic can be discussed. Please and thanks.

Sure, if you want to see a theme involving the Old Covenant in Isaiah and Jeremiah

I don't think there's that same theme in the other prophets. Ezekiel, maybe. After that, the word Sabbath occurs only once in Hosea and once in Amos.

If you're wanting to draw an application to us today, a prophet talking about those same four elements, connecting them to the New Covenant would be useful.

'In that he says, “A new covenant”, he has made the first obsolete'

Back to the OP....

We see the same pattern in the NT as well.

The reason why we see it is found in the words of Jesus our God Himself

Matt 4:4 "Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God."

When mankind lives as Jesus instructs us to, we begin to see the harmony of all Scripture. The God of the OT is the God of the NT, God does not change Mal 3:6 Heb13:8

What God establishes is not temporary or meaningless:

Ps 111:7 "The works of His hands are verity and justice; all His precepts are sure. 8 They stand fast forever and ever, and are done in truth and uprightness."

He declared His covenant written by His own finger. He did not leave it up to man to write His commandments Exo20:6- God did this Himself.

Exo 32:16 "Now the tablets were the work of God, and the writing was the writing of God engraved on the tablets.
Deut 4:13 So He declared to you His covenant which He commanded you to perform, the Ten Commandments; and He wrote them on two tablets of stone
Exo 31:18 "And He gave Moses two tablets of the Testimony, tablets of stone, written with the finger of God."

What God does is forever, and our fear should be of Him, another theme working throughout the entire Bible connecting to God's commandments. Nothing can be added or taken away from what God Himself does, its forever.....

Ecc 3:14 "I know that whatever God does, it shall be forever. Nothing can be added to it, and nothing taken from it. God does it, that men should fear before Him."

Why God said hold fast to My covenant Isa 56:6, the words I will not change- man may to try change them Dan7:25, against God's spoken Word, but not God.

My covenant I will not break, Nor alter the word that has gone out of My lips.

Matt 5:18 Till heaven and earth pass away, one jot or one tittle will by no means pass from the law till all is fulfilled.19 Whoever therefore breaks one of the least of these commandments, and teaches men so, shall be called least in the kingdom of heaven; but whoever does and teaches them, he shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven

If we believe these words from God Himself and not place anyone else above Him, we can see plainly how all of the Bible harmonizes perfectly.

So back to the same pattern of the OP now in the NT

First- Come to the waters

Isa 55:1 "Ho! Everyone who thirsts, come to the waters; and you who have no money, come, buy and eat. Yes, come, buy wine and milk without money and without price."

Jer 17:13 "...they have forsaken the LORD, the fountain of living waters."

The same invitation given in the OT to everyone remains in the NT

John 7:37 "If anyone thirsts, let him come to Me and drink. 38 He who believes in Me, as the Scripture has said, out of his heart will flow rivers of living water."

He offers it to a Samaritan woman before He offers it to a crowd John 4:10, 14. Isaiah 56 opened the door to the foreigner; John 4 we see fulfillment

Second- Forsake your own ways

Isa 55:7 "Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts; let him return to the LORD, and He will have mercy on him."

And the reason-our thinking cannot be trusted:

Isa 55:8 "For My thoughts are not your thoughts, nor are your ways My ways," says the LORD.

Jer 17:9 "The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked; who can know it?"

Jesus gives the same diagnosis, and He gives it while confronting men who feared God through men's traditions over trusting God

Mark 7:21 "For from within, out of the heart of men, proceed evil thoughts... 23 All these evil things come from within and defile a man."

What provoked this laying aside the commandments of God quoting from the Ten Commandments for traditions of man. In both OT and NT

Mark 7:7 And in vain they worship Me,
Teaching as doctrines the commandments of men.’
8 For laying aside the commandment of God, you hold the tradition of men

Isa 29:13 13 Therefore the Lord said:
“Inasmuch as these people draw near with their mouths
And honor Me with their lips,
But have removed their hearts far from Me,
And their fear toward Me is taught by the commandment of men,

Third Keep the Sabbath

In the OT

Isa 56:1 "Keep justice, and do righteousness... 2 Blessed is the man who does this... Blessed is the man who does this, who keeps the Sabbath, not profaning it, and keeps his hand from doing any evil.”
Jer 17:22 "...but hallow the Sabbath day, as I commanded your fathers."

Isaiah 58 gives the plainest definition in Scripture of what that keeping is:

Isa 58:13 "If you turn away your foot from the Sabbath, from doing your pleasure on My holy day, and call the Sabbath a delight, the holy day of the LORD honorable, and shall honor Him, not doing your own ways, nor finding your own pleasure, nor speaking your own words... 14 then you shall delight yourself in the LORD."

Three times -not your ways, not your pleasure, not your words. That is "forsake your own way" written into God's calendar. Honor Him, and the day becomes delight instead of burden. Easy yoke. Light burden. Mat11:28-29

Mark 2:27 "The Sabbath was made for man, and not man for the Sabbath. 28 Therefore the Son of Man is also Lord of the Sabbath."

God made the Sabbath for man, He is LORDING the Sabbath day, the day we are to put aside our ways and focus on our Creator Exo31:18 the only God worthy of our worship Rev14:7

Heb 4:9 "There remains therefore a Sabbath-rest for the people of God. 10 For he who has entered His rest has himself also ceased from his works as God did from His on the seventh day Heb4:4

The Sabbath is about full healing in God, both mentally and physically Eze20:20 Exo31:17

John 7:23 "...are you angry with Me because I made a man completely well on the Sabbath?"

That is what the Sabbath day was made for, and it is what He alone can do in us — on the very day we cease from our own works on the Sabbath and focus on the LORD to be a blessing Isaiah 56:2 and a delight Isa 58:13

And as in the OT God compared keeping the Sabbath as doing righteousness and blessing in the same breath He said not keeping it is doing evil and that still stands in the NT

Mark 3:4 Is it lawful on the Sabbath to do good or to do evil, to save life or to kill?

Rev 2:11 Let the evildoer still do evil, and the filthy still be filthy, and the righteous still do right, and the holy still be holy.”

Lastly hold fast My covenant that God will not alter His words Psa89:34 because what He does is forever Ecc3:14

Isa 56:6 "Also the sons of the foreigner who join themselves to the LORD, to serve Him, and to love the name of the LORD, to be His servants — everyone who keeps from defiling the Sabbath, and holds fast My covenant —"

It was never bloodline:

Eph 2:12 "...you were without Christ, being aliens from the commonwealth of Israel and strangers from the covenants of promise... 13 But now in Christ Jesus you who once were far off have been brought near by the blood of Christ."

And the covenant God wrote with His own finger on stone He now writes with on the heart and mind

That is Jeremiah 31:33 quoted word for word - and the direct reversal of Jer 17:1 where sin was engraved on the tablet of the heart with a pen of iron. Because God wants us to fear Him, give Him glory, worship Him, our Creator and keep His commandments, the whole duty of man on both OT and NT Ecc3:14-15 Rev14:6-12

This may appear to be a small detail, but I believe it's critical -

It's the laws God puts in our minds and writes on our hearts.

I'm glad you mentioned Romans 8:7-8 again. If someone does not have God's laws put into their mind and written on their heart, are they in the flesh? They cannot be in Christ? They are not following the theme that you have laid out?
