  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Disclaimer: These definitions represent my own understanding and how these terms are used in general discourse and are not meant to reflect an academic understanding of these terms.

Let's begin with a few key definitions.

Wokeness: A lens through which the world is viewed primarily in terms of power structures, dividing people into oppressors and the oppressed based on characteristics such as race, sex, and gender.

Woke Left: A worldview that sees straight, white, Christian men as the ultimate oppressor class, while racial, sexual, and religious minorities are viewed as oppressed by a system controlled by "whiteness."

Woke Right: A worldview that sees straight, white, Christian men as the ultimate oppressed group, while racial, sexual, and religious minorities are viewed as being empowered by a system controlled by Jews.

Recently, there has been a surge of “woke left" and self-proclaimed Democratic Socialist candidates winning elections, particularly in Democratic Party primaries. Beginning with Zohran Mamdani's victory in New York City's 2025 Democratic mayoral primary and continuing through more recent races, the Progressive wing of the Democratic Party is experiencing a remarkable level of success.

Following Kamala Harris' decisive loss to Donald Trump in the 2024 presidential election, Democrats were forced to take a hard look at themselves. The minority identity coalition they had spent decades building appeared to be unraveling, as evidenced by Trump's gains among black and Hispanic voters. Some political strategists argued that the party had moved too far to the left and needed to return to the political center by nominating more moderate candidates.

Others reached the opposite conclusion. They argued that Democrats lost because they failed to fully embrace democratic socialism and progressive policies. In their view, the solution was not moderation but an even stronger commitment to the Left.

The younger population has been brainwashed. Right now, many of them are having trouble supporting themselves financially and/or finding a job. Others are lazy and entitled. They've all been taught that Capitalism is bad. Then Mandami came along with "free this and free that," and he froze the rents in NYC, which is only a temporary win but will have dire long-term consequences. None of them wants to listen. They all insist this is some right-wing fear-mongering, despite the many influencers on TikTok and authors who have escaped Cuba, Venezuela, North Korea, and China warning them that they see what is happening here as what happened to their country. These "Democratic Socialists" who have branded themselves such to trick people are winning elections because they are telling people what they want to hear. They think socialism means free healthcare, free daycare, free education, free transportation, etc., and that we will be like Norway. Mamdani says he wants to seize the means of production and private property. It has been explained to them that this freezing-rent business will eventually result in the seizure of property. They REFUSE to listen. This should scare everyone. This is not just college kids; it is older democrats too. The ignorance of these people is going to get our country destroyed. The most annoying thing about this is that they are convinced we live under a fascist regime. They can all give Trump the middle finger, vandalize, protest, criticize the government, and remain free under our First Amendment (though vandalism does not mean peace protest to me). They think the right is censoring free speech, when thousands have lost their jobs due to their right-wing comments.

I am not sure racial, sexual, and religious minorities are empowered by a system controlled by Jews. I think minorities and especially along sex and racial lines ant anything to do with the Jews. In fact they blame them for everything.

If you look at Scott Wiener a LGBTIQ+ activist was rejected by the LGBTIQ+ for siding with the Jews over Palestine. The trans for Palestine is a good example. They would rather side with a regime that persecutes the LGBTIQ+ community than with the Jews.

For a long time I've noticed how some people seem to hate Trump with an almost supernatural hate. I've never seen so much hate directed at one person in my life. This hatred also seems to spread to anyone who supports him - like Charlie Kirk, for instance. But in recent years, I think the hatred I'm seeing for Jewish people, and especially for Israel is actually rising to the level of the Trump hatred. Almost a supernatural hate.

I agree and I think it comes from the same place. It is pure hate. It is spiritual. In the last few decades there has been a rising anti establishment, anti God, anti Christ, anti Jew and anti Christian ideology.

We use to be able to discuss matters and disagree. But now that disagreement is seen as a threat. That is due to the ideology of identity politics that has risen and taken over. Dividing society and people into identity groups as being good and bad identities. If you simply support Isreal or Christianity you are deemed bad. If you are a white male that is the lowest identity on the victimhood hierarchy.

Now the political has become personal and seen as a threat to life itself. Words are seen as like physical violence so people are retaliating with actual physical violence over wrong speak. Words are the new reality. So declaring something with words like "I am a women" qualifies the reality of being a women. If you don't affirm those words then you are deemed hateful. Word meanings are being completely changed to mean something they are not.

LGBTQ used to be about acceptance but in recent years it’s become “You must not only accept me, you must celebrate me or you’re a bigot “

Is that even open for debate?

The statement below is somewhat distorted, but it contains some truth. Europeans dominated and oppressed much of the world for the past 700 years. At one point, European and European decedent controlled roughly 84% of the world, and that was only about 112 years ago.

Woke Left: A worldview that sees straight, white, Christian men as the ultimate oppressor class, while racial, sexual, and religious minorities are viewed as oppressed by a system controlled by "whiteness."

This claim below however, is 100% false. It is much easier to win an argument with a statement that contains some truth than with a narrative that is entirely false.

Woke Right: A worldview that sees straight, white, Christian men as the ultimate oppressed group, while racial, sexual, and religious minorities are viewed as being empowered by a system controlled by Jews.

It's all just one big Satanic nightmare!

Yes and this idea that you must accept alternative ideas and beliefs was specifically engineered as a counter culture to the traditional and conservative culture. Which really began with the 60s and 70s counter cultural revolutions. The idea of DEI began then with the "one big melting pot" idea and no Gods or religion.

But like all revolutions they inevitably become political themselves. It rejects the status quo of a God based world for a human made one. That is what has happened and is happening as we speak. That is the culture war maturing. The new ideology is being imposed like religion has been imposed as a substitute religion.

I think the symbolic transition of the revolution into what it is today can be summed up with the feminist idea that "the political is the personal". This made politics personal whereas it use to be "never mix religion and politics with public life". This brought in everything including religion. Thus it has become not only a political and ideological culture war but fundementally a spiritual one.

The new ideology became the State religion and imposed within the institutions and even in the bedroom. This is classic Marxism where the State takes over enforcing peoples private lives. The church and family institutions become the enermy of the State and thus must be destroyed. Which has and is already happening.

An idea that is somewhat false is still false. Racism, while not dead, is dying. The episodes of governmental racism, such as the purging of minority heroes in Hegseth's DOD are doomed to failure; even many republicans don't support it.
