  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Unless you weren't. Most likely, you were BUT it is not universal.
I'm guessing you are talking about those born with a defect. I don't think this case deals with birth defects.
We're talking about children's sports.
Prepubescent children? I don't think this case really was about that.
they are in transition as hormones affect their gene expression to greater and lesser degrees throughout puberty
Im guessing you are talking about giving young kids hormonal treatments to transition them before puberty? A practice that should be outlawed.
Oops, sorry, you're right.
Yup.
That's just my point: if the person doesn't go through regular puberty because of puberty blockers and instead go through opposite sex puberty by way of hormone therapy really do not have that advantage. If they maintain the hormone levels - which are tested before competitions at certain levels - the sexual advantage disappears. I am not talking about "a man in a dress".
I dont think that's been proven to be true at all.

This is child abuse to push the idea of transing kids at young ages before puberty.. This is wrecking their normal development. There is no science and in fact studies are showing most kids grow out of their gender dysphoria and align to their biological sex.

No matter which way you look at it toying around with nature and trying to engineer males into females and visa versa is not a good idea. Like everything else humans have meddled with in nature. It creates more problems than ever before.

People need to stop playing God and thinking they know better.
