  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I have a four-day weekend. I'm hoping to be productive. There's things I need to get done, like backing up my phone. I haven't done that in 7 months and I know having junk files on my phone is causing the battery to drain quicker.

I've been working overtime. I was hoping it would be over soon, but it's not.

Honestly, I'm physically struggling through my job, working toward side hustles, and studying for a new kind of job that will be easier on my body and mental health.

I don't have time or energy to socialize. I really just want to rest and have pain relief. When I dont have to be doing something else, I'm focusing on rest and self care.

Work continues to be an untenable exercise in triage, and unrealistic expectations, and home is proving to be equally stressful. Seems like every time work gets worse, home follows suit.

Dealing with what feels like rapid chaotic changes in my professional life. Dealing with the extreme fire danger where I live. There are multiple fires already in several counties. A single lightning strike or a careless camper could cause the entire county to go up in flames.

I'm still working over time. I'm tired of it. So are my co-workers.

People will try to say encouraging things like "you're making more money" but considering the economy and how much time work takes up, we're not enjoying life. We're not living by working so much.

Yea, I can see smoke on the hills. But not worried it’s far away today. Im almost done with my book. Praying more lately, is God going to shorten the time for persecuted Christian’s? I believe it’s in His plans.

Trying to do a little ministry here and there to keep active and keep producing fruit unto repentance if I can and to salvation. Doing what I can. I want to keep going to church. It’s a struggle sometimes. But I think it separates the men from the boys.
