  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Real hatred towards certain people is not wrong (proof from the Bible)

So are you better than God? Because God obviously hates some people. The purpose of hell & damnation is punishment and vengeance. If God never hated anybody then hell wouldn't exist. But it does.
Can you tell me which is the unpardonable sin? Do you think that because a person is a murderer or pedophile they cant repent and accept Christ prior to death?!

Maybe God has the right to hate, but we don't

Hell exists because freewill exists & the will of the creature must be honored. The purpose of damnation is to send the unjust to Hell because our God is a just God. Hell is what people get when what they think they want is not God; it’s the finalization of that desire.

It’s not about being better than God. It’s understanding that Gods emotional nature is perfect & mine is not. Quick question, does God ever call you to hate other people? I know it says God hates workers of iniquity but does the Lord ever specifically call on you to hate like He does? No & that’s because we’re children & we don’t tell the Father how to go about doing things. What he does tell you to do, hundreds of times over, is do good & love one another.

You can hate murder & adultery, call on the sinner for repentance, & support righteous judgment all at the same time. None of these things are mutually exclusive.
So... you don't want to talk about Psalm 139? Just dismissing clear scripture.

I’m glad you mentioned it. The first thing you’ll note is that this is David speaking; not God calling you to hate. What David is expressing is his complete moral alignment with God. In Hebrew it is referred to as moral opposition - not personal hostility. Furthermore, when we wrap it in its full context, David was a king - he had to execute God’s civil judgment. So this expression of moral alignment only makes sense when you’re a king of a theocratic nation.

Jesus explicitly reverses this posture:
“But love ye your enemies, and do good, and lend, hoping for nothing again; and your reward shall be great, and ye shall be the children of the Highest: for he is kind unto the unthankful and to the evil.”
‭‭Luke‬ ‭6‬:‭35‬ ‭KJV‬‬

You do not enforce the covenant law. Your calling is mercy, forgiveness, reconciliation, etc. David’s calling & your calling are two different paths.

It is not clear scripture if we use your interpretation. In fact your interpretation puts the scripture in quite a bit of tension. It’s counter intuitive to read Math. 5 with your interpretation. How can you love your enemies if you actually hate them?

None of that is true, but it would take a bit to explain, so...? And I'm tired of doing that, cause nobody gets it anyway, so it's a waste of my time. So, have a good day.

God Bless.

I'm not as qualified, and neither are any of you.
Because God obviously hates some people.
God in the OT/God the Spirit had anger/wrath, and went through a time of hating some people for a time before Jesus came along, when everything changed/became different after that, etc.
The purpose of hell & damnation is punishment and vengeance.
Wrong. People don't go there because of that.
If God never hated anybody then hell wouldn't exist.
Wrong again. That's not why it exists, or why people go there.

The rest of the details that would explain all of this a whole lot better I'm not allowed to discuss in too much detail here, so...

God Bless.

As far as my views on hell, or as far as I could explain them here, I went into it a bit in post #81, 82 and 83 of this thread. Not that any of you probably understood it, etc.

God Bless.

Those not chosen for Heaven by God from before the foundations of the world, their memories/program is reset, and they are not brought back up again until they are needed again in other creations that are both before and after this, etc. And their fates have always been fully known/already written from God's perspective, and cannot ever be changed except from only our perspectives right now currently, etc. Which is why those fates are always said to be eternal from God's perspective, because from his, they never can/could ever be changed, etc, but can only be changed still only from our perspectives right now only, etc. They also are not, not one of God's chosen, because he hates them, but only because they only can ever serve just only one purpose only from God's perspective, and don't/can't anymore after that, etc, and their whole reason for even being is to serve the purpose of giving others that always were chosen for Heaven from before the foundations of the world from God's perspective, anyway, those ones whole reason for being is to just only give the ones who always were chosen from God's perspective, the experiences they will need for the life that's after this, and after that, those other ones no longer have a reason for being, and can no longer serve a good purpose etc. So, they are reset, and lose all their prior memories and experiences here after death, and they are not brought back up again except in other creations that are still like this, both before and after this, etc. And since from God's perspective none of that can ever be changed, for either one ever, those chosen or not chosen, etc, their fates have always been eternal, in creations that were both before this, and that still will always be after this, etc. But it's also very important to note that we don't know who's who, and that from our perspective, anyone's fate can still be changed, even if they cannot/could not ever be ever from God's perspective, and I mean like "ever" from God's perspective. But for as long as the future, and a full knowledge of determinism, remains an unknown to us, all fates/futures still can change or become different from our perspective, just not from God's ever though, etc.

God Bless.

And just so I am clear, and just in case I didn't say this right, the not-chosen one's whole reason and purpose for even being is, to just give the ones that are chosen the experiences they will need later on in heaven, and after that have no (good) reason or purpose for being after that, except for just being reset, and then re-living their whole experiences again, in creations that were both before, and still will be again after this, etc. And their fates are eternal because they can never be changed from God's perspective, and this is not because he hates them, or hates anybody, ok. They are only needed in these existences only, and to just only give the other ones the experiences they will need after this, ok.

God Bless.

Oh, and those not chosen from before the foundations of the world (this right now fallen creation/world, etc) are also brought back up again temporarily at each final judgement of each specfic creation/world again, when it's time for that for each individual one again, each time again (before heaven) in order for us to all know and see how and why God judges them, and what for, etc, so none of us will ever be able to accuse God of being unjust again, but then are only ever brought back up again after that again, only in other creations that are still in fallen states after that again, and this is forever/eternal because of what I've already said, and the fact that there will always be fallen creations elsewhere again, so that everything is eternal, etc. And it is my opinion that it is being in these fallen worlds/creations, and having to live out an existence in them eternally, is the Lake of fire, or places of eternal torment, etc, but that it takes a certain kind of perspective to see them that way, or the perspective from heaven, which all of the rest of us will eventually have one day, etc.

Anyway, God Bless.
Here they are quoted above.

If you can follow them, or understand them.

God Bless.

So nothing is a clear scripture to you? Because it's one of the clearest to me.

If it's a matter of personal interpretation (which I don't believe it is but let's pretend it is), then, if you can have your interpretation why can't I have my interpretation? Just like you can call my interpretation wrong, I can call yours wrong, and we could all agree to disagree and end the discussion. What's wrong with that?

He says that he hates the enemies of God, not his own enemies. Psalm 139 teaches that you should hate the enemies of God, not your personal enemies. When Christ taught to love your enemies he was obviously talking about your own enemies you have in your own life, not the enemies of God. That's the difference.

God's enemies are the demons, not the people who have been possessed or deceived by them. I've brought this up a couple of times in this thread and you've completely ignored me each time.
Your interpretation of the Psalm is utterly contrary to the Gospel and needs to be exposed as such. It is the theology of demons in my opinion.

How do Israelites deserve the gospel?
Because TMH said they deserve it which why he commissioned the disciples through Jesus to preach it to scattered Israel before the end would come. whether or not they accept it is a different matter.

Thanks. I don't know what TMH stands for, but assume from the rest of your post that it refers to Jesus Christ. Could you help me by telling me where in the Bible you see Jesus saying that anybody deserves the gospel? I cannot think of anywhere where He says such a thing.

TMH = The Most High God = The Father

When you say "deserve the gospel" do you mean they deserve to hear it?

"30 “Whoever is not with me is against me, and whoever does not gather with me scatters. 31 And so I tell you, every kind of sin and slander can be forgiven, but blasphemy against the Spirit will not be forgiven. 32 Anyone who speaks a word against the Son of Man will be forgiven, but anyone who speaks against the Holy Spirit will not be forgiven, either in this age or in the age to come." Matthew Ch12 NIV

8 “I tell you, whoever publicly acknowledges me before others, the Son of Man will also acknowledge before the angels of God. 9 But whoever disowns me before others will be disowned before the angels of God. 10 And everyone who speaks a word against the Son of Man will be forgiven, but anyone who blasphemes against the Holy Spirit will not be forgiven." Luke Ch12 NIV

Blasphemy against the Holy Spirit is unpardonable sin.
