Yes, but a project to widen it and deepen it for much larger ships, and more ships through what is now parts of Canada and the U.S. would need to take place. Someone call the Army corps of engineers! We can turn what is minimal capacity shipping into maximum shipping. We just need access to the land north and East of the Great lakes to make it happen.
