Workplace and businesses putting pride flags everywhere

At work today I noticed the entire office has been covered in pride flags and banners everywhere over the walls and ceilings, even outside the building. There's even an upcoming day where everyone has to wear something rainbow coloured into work for the day and everyone must do this according to managemnet

What would you do if your workplace does this?

I do not celebrate Pride day or month, which may be considered a curiosity for an Episcopalian. (That should not be construed as having anything to do with what I think about inclusivity in the church -- a possible dichotomy, I know). What others do does not offend me so my employer could plaster rainbows all over the place and I would carry on as usual. I suspect it may not be legal for an employer to mandate wearing rainbow colors. Encourage, yes. Mandate, no. I think I would either swim upstream by dressing as usual or consider using a sick day or vacation day. And, maybe first having a chat with HR questioning the legality of a dress mandate.

If you look up the topic on youtube you'll find most companies are doing otherwise. The Budweiser backlash isn't worth repeating in an economic downturn. How do you think followers of other religions deal with Christmas and related events? When I was a practicing jew I didn't partake and ignored it. Adults do it all the time. You guys act like you've never encountered something you didn't agree with.

This kind of excess is probably causing more animosity towards LGBT.

I'd look for a new job. Generally, people who support the pride flag are extremely intolerant of other views. Soon or later you are going to say the wrong thing and get yourself fired. If you can't leave then make sure to keep your mouth shut about nonwork related issues.

Get a small rainbow pin and wear it that one day. Meanwhile, look for another job.

Yes, because your personal views are probably aligned with the organization.

Hypothetical situation:
What if you work at the NRA and hate guns? That might be a problem if others find out. It would probably be better to keep your mouth shut about your personal views. Maybe start looking for a new job.

Why are you working at the NRA if you hate guns?

Because I used to like guns, but recently I changed my mind.

The requirement to wear rainbow-themed items to work on a particular day feels very uncomfortable to me, for multiple reasons. Partly, here in the US we're very sensitive about coerced speech. And partly, how does it do anyone any good if you pretend to be an LGBT ally when you're not -- who can that possibly benefit?

Do you work in some sort of public service job, where customers come into your office regularly to request items or tasks from you? If so, I could see the office choosing to display the message to its LGBT customers that they're welcome in this place of business. Still... the most your employer should reasonably ask of you is to treat your LGBT customers and colleagues with respect and fairness.

What would I, personally, do? I've got a bunch of rainbow-themed stuff I could wear to work, no problem. My boss knows that about me. I think I would use my position as a person who regularly does diversity/inclusion work to have a quiet talk with my boss, "Can I talk to you for a few minutes about coerced speech? I think our office has taken a step too far here..."

I can see management allowing it, but not requiring it, same as green on St. Patrick's day or one of those ribbon loop pins for whatever.

Coerced speech is the main problem which is probably illegal as well as unethical.

The other is I don't own any rainbow colored clothes and I'm not going to buy something for the occasion.

People don't get fired for accidentally using the wrong pronouns. Intentionally using the wrong ones or being antagonistic about how you're using the pronouns will. The perpetual victimhood you constantly claim is exhausting for those of us who have to deal with you, I can only imagine how hard it is to live in that state perpetually.

If it was required by management, I might ask for clarification about what they mean by required. Although I don't have a problem with rainbow flags, mandatory participation in things that don't pertain to work seems a bit unprofessional to me. Whether people celebrate Pride or not is none of my business and I'm not going to rain on their parade.

Instead of focusing on flags and whatnot, I think Christians should focus on feeding the hungry, helping the sick, visiting prisoners in jail, and similar teachings of Jesus.
