1 Cor. 1:18 (W.E.B.) For
the word of the cross is foolishness to those who are dying, but
to us who are saved it is the power of God.
2 Cor. 2:15 For we are a sweet aroma of Christ to God, in
those who are saved, and in those who perish;
Eph. 2:4-6
4 But God, being rich in mercy, for his great love with which he loved us,
5 even when we were dead through our trespasses, made us alive together with Christ (
by grace you have been saved),
6 and raised us up with him, and made us to sit with him in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus,
Eph. 2:8,9
8 for
by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God,
9 not of works, that no one would boast.
2 Tim. 1:8,9
8 Therefore don’t be ashamed of the testimony of our Lord, nor of me his prisoner; but endure hardship for the Good News according to the power of God,
9
who saved us and called us with a holy calling, not according to our works, but according to his own purpose and grace, which was given to us in Christ Jesus before times eternal,
Titus 3:4-6
4 But when the kindness of God our Saviour and his love toward mankind appeared,
5 not by works of righteousness, which we did ourselves, but
according to his mercy, he saved us, through the washing of regeneration and renewing by the Holy Spirit,
6 whom he poured out on us richly, through Jesus Christ our Saviour;
As you can see, believers in Jesus Christ ARE saved. There is, however, even better to come, when our corrupt bodies will be resurrected and we will have unbroken fellowship with the Lord.
