  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Seven days after he publicly mournedthe death of his uncle, Joshua Trujillo, the beloved son of the well-known anti-violence advocate and senior pastor of Faith Center Church in San Fernando, California, Rudy Trujillo, was fatally shot at a party on Saturday.

Police did not publicly identify Joshua Trujillo as the man killed at the party on Saturday, but he was identified as the deceased shooting victim by The San Fernando Valley Sun.

Los Angeles County Sheriff’s homicide investigators stated in a press releaseon Sunday that deputies from the Santa Clarita Sheriff’s Station responded to the 20800 Block of Centre Pointe Parkway, Santa Clarita, regarding a gunshot victim at about 10:50 p.m. on Saturday.

When they arrived, they found two men suffering from gunshot wounds. Both males were transported to a local hospital, where one of the men was pronounced deceased. The second male is in critical condition. Police stated that they detained a person of interest.
