I don't fixate on you steve. We've been responding to the racist/xenophobic rhetoric of the US government.

Like I said I was responding to the OP and in particular the video from Rubio and post 2. This was pointing out the ideological overreach of the UN on immigration and imposing this on the west.

I then pointed out the ideological differences between the US and western principles and alliances that are being undermined by the UN's ideas on immigration. Which has led to much unrerst and divisions on culture. We have see this unrest especially in England and Europe and beginning to rise in the US.

Steve, I didn't even know there was a video in this thread. (The latest iteration of this board turns all videos into black rectangles that I can't click. I can open with extra effort those videos when I know they are there, and oh boy, that video was, well very bigoted. Exactly the kind of thing I have been commenting about on this thread when it comes from the US government spokespeople.)

So now you understand the context and that I was not bringing up something irrelevant. I would have thought you first know what the OP had linked. That is what I was replying to and especially the 2nd post which questioned the UN's credibility and motives in all this. .

Like I said I was pointing out the ideological difference between the UN and the west. The threat to western ideals from the UN pushing their ideology.

We have to first understand the ideological basis for the position of each side. What is behind their policies. Obviously you disagree when you claim the video is being racist. While others don't.

This difference in ideological and moral positions is what needs to be established as to whether it is racist or immoral. You are claiming it is but thats your ideological belief. Just as there is nationally between the left and right politically and secular and Christians.

The UN is just as supceptible to ideological overreach as any political State or religion.

Its not anti immigration but simply proper and regulated immigration as the west has had for decades. Taking the host nations position and concerns first rather than imposing a globalist ideology on all nations.

This is the reality. How we regulate and apply immigration will have consequences. We are already seeing the division and chaos cause by unreal immigration ideas and policies.

I can see where this thread is going. Everything claimed about the video and language used can be applied to the opposition ie language that has actually led to assassination attempts and the murdering of people. To violence in the streets which are real consequences.

I see nothing in reality of so called whites bringing in racist polices or laws or anything that is racist against a particular group in society. Trump gained more diversity not less. More blacks and Hispanics now support Trump.

Standing up for and protecting the long held truth principles that the US was built is not being racist.

I can see how this thread will decend into claims and counter claims and really at the end of the day the opposition has no moral ground to stand on and are hypocrites. Because they do exactly the same if not worse. Its all identity politics and culture wars. No thanks.

I think you should read your kinks before posting them i.e.

As President Donald Trump has made clear in the first month of his second term, one of the major goals of his administration is to reinscribe the hierarchies of race and gender. The result would be to, once again, privilege those who are white and male in a country that has spent decades moving, if haphazardly, toward integration and equity.

Oh, I forgot the "male" part. 'They complain about racism while being racist in their language and fixating on race and gender all the time.

These are Left leaning activist sites who used language like: " hierarchies, privilege, whites and males" This is obvious feminist, egalitarian and critical theory narratives.

They have continually pushed the narrative that Trump and his admin are Nazis and Fascists and racist and anyone who disagrees is a white supremacist suffering from white privilege.

This has caused much division and violence on the streets. As well as assassination attempts and the murder of good people for simply disagreeing ideologically. Turning long held beliefs into hate speech.

I actually think these bias outlets are the ones causing the division by falsely labelling opposing views as racism with their constant narratives.

No one reinscribed the hierarchies of race and gender. This is classic feminist ideology. Sex was simply reinstated as a biological reality over subjective gender identity to stop the discrimination against women. That some interpret this as discrimination is ideological and not reality or truth.

In fact, it is the identity politics of race and gender that is winding back hard-won women's rights and making race an issue by using it as the blame for everything that happens.

Whatever the progressives complain about they are guilty of even more so and have no moral ground to stand on. All we will end up with is claim and counter claim about who is worse. None have the moral leg to stand on.
