I don't fixate on you steve. We've been responding to the racist/xenophobic rhetoric of the US government.

Like I said I was responding to the OP and in particular the video from Rubio and post 2. This was pointing out the ideological overreach of the UN on immigration and imposing this on the west.

I then pointed out the ideological differences between the US and western principles and alliances that are being undermined by the UN's ideas on immigration. Which has led to much unrerst and divisions on culture. We have see this unrest especially in England and Europe and beginning to rise in the US.

Steve, I didn't even know there was a video in this thread. (The latest iteration of this board turns all videos into black rectangles that I can't click. I can open with extra effort those videos when I know they are there, and oh boy, that video was, well very bigoted. Exactly the kind of thing I have been commenting about on this thread when it comes from the US government spokespeople.)

So now you understand the context and that I was not bringing up something irrelevant. I would have thought you first know what the OP had linked. That is what I was replying to and especially the 2nd post which questioned the UN's credibility and motives in all this. .

Like I said I was pointing out the ideological difference between the UN and the west. The threat to western ideals from the UN pushing their ideology.

We have to first understand the ideological basis for the position of each side. What is behind their policies. Obviously you disagree when you claim the video is being racist. While others don't.

This difference in ideological and moral positions is what needs to be established as to whether it is racist or immoral. You are claiming it is but thats your ideological belief. Just as there is nationally between the left and right politically and secular and Christians.

The UN is just as supceptible to ideological overreach as any political State or religion.

Its not anti immigration but simply proper and regulated immigration as the west has had for decades. Taking the host nations position and concerns first rather than imposing a globalist ideology on all nations.

This is the reality. How we regulate and apply immigration will have consequences. We are already seeing the division and chaos cause by unreal immigration ideas and policies.
