Yeah, I don't get it. In rugby league for example if there's an accidental clash of heads then the player(s) can be removed from the game for an HIR (head injury assesment). They may have to sit out the rest of the game and if they are concussed they may be sidelined for a couple of weeks.
I really think we turned a corner as a species when "slap fighting" became popular as a spectator sport.
