Candace Owens challenged over claims about Charlie Kirk, TPUSA successor

Candace Owens was called out online by Blake Neff, the producer of “The Charlie Kirk Show,” after the famous podcaster once again demanded that Turning Point USA disprove one of the conspiracy theories she has spread about the organization following Charlie Kirk’s assassination.

The exchange began on Tuesday after Owens reacted to an article in The Bulwark that discussed the public reception to the idea of Owens running for president.

In response to the article, Owens declared in a Tuesday X post that President Donald Trump’s “attempt to publicly shame [me] with a photo of me fighting an illness had the opposite desired effect.” The influencer was referring to the president labeling her “Vile Person of the Year,” along with a doctored Time magazine cover of the podcaster.

Owens’ post caught the attention of Neff, who responded on X, stating, “You should run. I think the whole country would benefit from learning more about who you really are.”
