  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Israel’s ambassador to the United Nations Danny Danon announced Thursday that the United Nations had placed Israel on its blacklist of entities accused of “sexual violence in conflict zones.”

Israel was added to the list ”alongside the world's most brutal terrorist organizations — Hamas and ISIS,” Danon posted on X.

Danon called the decision “a political decision, disconnected from facts and reality.” He also noted that Israel provided the U.N. with evidence to refute the claims of sexual violence and had invited U.N. representatives to conduct an examination.

“This is a political decision, disconnected from facts and reality,” Danon said, noting that “Israel provided evidence, documents and detailed answers to every claim. We invited U.N. representatives to come to the field and examine things closely, and of course, they chose not to do so.”

I truly wonder what kind of evidence was presented to disprove this claim and its verification. What voice is Israel giving to the victims?
Israel basically blocks international investigators from ever getting on the ground to look at the evidence. Since outside experts aren't allowed to verify anything, you're forced to take their word for it, which ruins any real credibility.
I guess in this case they deserve to be on that list.

Thanks for sharing!
Be blessed.
