In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

WHY WATER BAPTISIM HAD TO GO AWAY ??

Sorry, I don't understand what your point is. (Probably my fault!) I had quoted a verse where baptism is mentioned but water isn't, that is clearly referring to baptism in water, and you have replied with some verses about other baptisms. I didn't claim that every time baptism is mentioned in Scripture, it must be water baptism. I only claimed that the word "water" (or the Greek equivalent) is not always present when water baptism is meant.

You are still asking the same question. I have already quoted one verse where baptism is mentioned, but water is not, which does refer to water baptism. Then think of all the times John the Baptist is mentioned. By no means was water always mentioned in association with his name. For instance:

Mrk_6:25 Immediately she came in with haste to the king and asked, saying, "I want you to give me at once the head of John the Baptist on a platter."
Mrk_8:28 So they answered, "John the Baptist; but some say, Elijah; and others, one of the prophets."

He is not called, "John the Water-Baptist."

And about CRISPUS in. Acts 18:8 WERE and were being BAPTIZED. , still no WATER //HYDOR and sorry that I doubled

doubled down as I had tp prepare for this SUNDAY. and had a hectic day. !!

And here is another on. where there will be a BAPTIAM BY. THE the Holy SPIRIT IN. Acts 1:5 !!

For John indeed BAPTIZED. WITH WATER. //. YDOR. , But you'll. be BAPTIZED with. HOLY. SPIRIT not many of these

days AFTER at PENTECOST !!
