CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

With so many choices I have no interest in "Melania." I am eagerly looking forward to reading Jill Biden's memoir in June, a love story that will inspire and move me to kindness and compassion. While recovering from my knee replacement, I read Tami Duckworth's biography. From her childhood in Thailand to tough times in Hawaii and a career as a helicopter pilot in Iraq, her courageous bio is gripping.
No draft dodger with bone spurs, Duckworth lost both her legs and suffered permanent damage to one arm in a helicopter crash, spending a year in Walter Reed Hospital. She still sought to serve her country, working for the VA and later as a Congresswoman and Senator. She is raising two daughters to love their country, has regained a pilot's license and hopes to someday fly a helicopter again.
So do I care about "Melania?" I care about it so little I would gladly get a knockoff of that jacket that says, "I really don't care. Do you?"

Thank you. God has blessed me and my family with a strong sense of values, and clear discernment that allows us to see the difference between lies and truth. And we are happy and privileged to proclaim that truth in Jesus' Name.
Similarly, I am happy to recommend inspiring, uplifting books and movies. We are what we consume on media, one reason why I am careful to avoid biased, inaccurate news sites and insipid, materialistic documentaries.

That jacket speaks volumes. Of the type of person she is. Not a very good person for sure. Until I seen that jacket, I thought she was better than Trump. Probably still is. People do mingle with what they are. I like Michelle Obama better.

You're welcome. My mother taught me to read at a young age so that I would be able to read God's Word. The only book I've recommended to many individuals over several decades is God's Word. I love when God states in the book of Isaiah, " My ways are not your ways and My thoughts are higher then your thoughts" I'm so very thankful that Jesus told us in His Word that the "Holy Spirit shall lead us into all truth"

The Holy Spirit has always led me to seek truth contained within God's Word. The Lord has never led me to seek His truth ( as contained within Scripture) from entertainment.
