  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Peace in Christ.

The Word of Truth being preached in the Spirit of Truth (the “waters”) is “without price”. No money is involved. It is freely given as has been freely received.

Isa 55:1-6 KJV
(1) Ho, every one that thirsteth, come ye to the waters, and he that hath no money; come ye, buy, and eat; yea, come, buy wine and milk without money and without price.

This is in contrast to the man-based churches who always “charge” for their “knowledge” that they are feeding (supposedly) many.

Why spend money for that which is not bread? Their knowledge is not true bread.

We give our hard-earned money to the man-based churches and get no real spiritual knowledge in return. The teachings of the man-based churches do not satisfy.

Instead, we are to hearken unto the voice of the Lord who opens up the Scriptures to our hearing ears. We are to eat that which is good….the Bread from Heaven….the Word of Truth….the truth of the gospel…the Scripture of Truth.

Our souls shall delight (rejoice) in the fatness of it. Our souls shall hear and rejoice if we take heed on how we hear. We are to hear what the Spirit is saying to the churches...taking heed on how we hear.

(2) Wherefore do ye spend money for that which is not bread? and your labour for that which satisfieth not? hearken diligently unto me, and eat ye that which is good, and let your soul delight itself in fatness.
(3) Incline your ear, and come unto me: hear, and your soul shall live; and I will make an everlasting covenant with you, even the sure mercies of David.

(4) Behold, I have given him for a witness to the people, a leader and commander to the people.

Nations shall run unto us because of the LORD our God and for the Holy One (Jesus Christ) of Israel. The glory of God shall appear upon us….and the people of the outside world shall come to that glory light.

(5) Behold, thou shalt call a nation that thou knowest not, and nations that knew not thee shall run unto thee because of the LORD thy God, and for the Holy One of Israel; for he hath glorified thee.
(6) Seek ye the LORD while he may be found, call ye upon him while he is near:

The “super apostles” always charge for their preaching: “Give, give. “ They are deceitful “workers” because the original apostles did not preach for money.

The original apostles did not charge the people for their preaching. REMEMBER? They worked day and night in order to not be chargeable to any. They worked with their own hands supporting themselves….their earthly needs…so that they may preach the true gospel…the gospel of God.

1Th 2:9 KJV
(9) For ye remember, brethren, our labour and travail: for labouring night and day, because we would not be chargeable unto any of you, we preached unto you the gospel of God.

The original apostles did “bind” this earthly pursuit for us (on the citizens of Heaven that we are) today. They commanded us to work with our own hands to support our own earthly necessities so that we may truly feed the flock of God (the heaven) with the Word of Truth.

Mat 16:19 KJV
(19) And I will give unto thee the keys of the kingdom of heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.

The original apostles were the example for us to follow.

2Th 3:7-12 KJV
(7) For yourselves know how ye ought to follow us: for we behaved not ourselves disorderly among you;

They did not eat any man’s bread for nothing but did work for their own bread.

(8) Neither did we eat any man's bread for nought; but wrought with labour and travail night and day, that we might not be chargeable to any of you:

They had the power to make a living off those whom they preached to.

But they did forgo that power and now it is binding upon us all after them to follow their example of working with our own hands to support our own earthly necessities. They did bind this on “earth” (working for earthly necessities) and so it is now binding upon us all who have our citizenship in heaven now in this earth. It is bound in earth. It is bound in heaven. We work with our own hands to support our own earthly necessities.

(9) Not because we have not power, but to make ourselves an ensample unto you to follow us.

Having the keys of the kingdom/government of heaven, they COMMANDED us to work so that we may eat. It is NOW BINDING upon us as the original apostles used that key to bind this commandment upon us today.

(10) For even when we were with you, this we commanded you, that if any would not work, neither should he eat.

Those who walk disorderly among us are ignoring the commandment of the original apostles who were given the keys to shut that door of making a living off those we preach to. They commanded us back then to work for our own earthly necessities so that we may truly preach the gospel.

Yet, those who are not following their commandment that they did bind upon us today are not working at all. They are not feeding the flock of God at all because they have no understanding of the Scriptures so that they may spiritually feed the sheep. They are only feeding themselves.....shepherds who feed only themselves literally while not feeding anyone spiritually that they are "preaching" to.

(11) For we hear that there are some which walk among you disorderly, working not at all, but are busybodies.

This is now binding upon us. The original apostles did COMMAND and exhort by our Lord Jesus Christ ….

(12) Now them that are such we command and exhort by our Lord Jesus Christ, that with quietness they work, and eat their own bread.

How do we feed the church of God?

Act 20:27-28 KJV
(27) For I have not shunned to declare unto you all the counsel of God.

(28) Take heed therefore unto yourselves, and to all the flock, over the which the Holy Ghost hath made you overseers, to feed the church of God, which he hath purchased with his own blood.

Paul showed us. His hands ministered (as a tentmaker) unto his own earthly necessities. We are to be “with him” in these things.

Act 20:33-35 KJV
(33) I have coveted no man's silver, or gold, or apparel.
(34) Yea, ye yourselves know, that these hands have ministered unto my necessities, and to them that were with me.

(35) I have shewed you all things, how that so labouring ye ought to support the weak, and to remember the words of the Lord Jesus, how he said, It is more blessed to give than to receive.

Example of select-texting. But what about these texts:

Luke 10:7 And in that same house remain, eating and drinking such things as they give: for the laborer is worthy of his hire.

1 Timothy 5:18 For the scripture saith, Thou shalt not muzzle the ox when he treadeth out the corn. And, The laborer is worthy of his hire.

2 Cor. 9:4 Do we have no right to eat and drink? 5 Do we have no right to take along a believing wife, as do also the other apostles, the brothers of the Lord, and Cephas? 6 Or is it only Barnabas and I who have no right to refrain from working? 7 Who ever goes to war at his own expense? Who plants a vineyard and does not eat of its fruit? Or who tends a flock and does not drink of the milk of the flock?
8 Do I say these things as a mere man? Or does not the law say the same also? 9 For it is written in the law of Moses, “You shall not muzzle an ox while it treads out the grain.” Is it oxen God is concerned about? 10 Or does He say it altogether for our sakes? For our sakes, no doubt, this is written, that he who plows should plow in hope, and he who threshes in hope should be partaker of his hope. 11 If we have sown spiritual things for you, is it a great thing if we reap your material things? 12 If others are partakers of this right over you, are we not even more?
Nevertheless we have not used this right, but endure all things lest we hinder the gospel of Christ. 13 Do you not know that those who minister the holy things eat of the things of the temple, and those who serve at the altar partake of the offerings of the altar? 14 Even so the Lord has commanded that those who preach the gospel should live from the gospel.
