I’m functionally an atheist but ticked the Deist box to avoid the “usual arguments” that atheists have to endure.

Because I can look it up for myself.. Any form of Sharia law, is persecutory.. No, we should not make adultery illegal.. that is authoritarian. Which is my whole post about Islam.. that shouldn't even be a question. In a free society, no it is unconstitutional to make adultery illegal. And if so, then we've all committed it.
