Christian churches in America have been infiltrated by unChristian ideas and false prophets!

So, growing up I used to go to church all of the time.. Flashforward to 2016, and more things that I never knew before have come in news media, And via elections and Presidents etc..

Social media and the ability to look up anything..

Church is no longer church! I am not going to disclose my location, But particularly my county is seems to be an incredibly corrupt county when it comes to Christianity, and churches!

I would say one of few pastors I would consider, is Mark Gungor but i'm not moving across the country to go to his church.. I wouldn't even be financially capable, as I am poor and live with my parents,
Church is no longer church, and I grew up as a church kid!

I think the only way I would trust church these days, is with a husband or boyfriend if he was really successful, because he could afford security if anything happened to me at a Judeo Christian church!
Topple that with the Israeli flag is not the Star of David.. that Star used to be on the Nigerian flag!

My county is sounding more, and more like a corrupt county, if not one of the most corrupt..

I can relate big time. My Pastor was fired and was hired by another church out west. I watch the services on line. I haven't found a church as of yet that's biblically sound.

I can't explain without disclosing my location.. but, my state is full of mega churches. I have been to the church that Charlie Kirk had an office. I have questions and reservations about his wife now..

I would love to live in California, but I can't afford it and they are even more corrupt

My feeling on this is similar; I eschew church in general because there are always dysfunctional leaders who think that insulting people for the 'sake of the Gospel' and conformity to their mystical visions are their highest calling.

And I'll only put up with other Christians who insult my wife with their wonky view of the Bible and make my son uncomfortable for just so long.

I don't think we are the same page, really..
But, there was a Fundamentalist church I did start going to after I didn't have a car. It was almost walkable

But, as far as tithing, and supporting a church financially, I have bought and paid for a lot of his stuff!

Something to consider. Many Christians who are not a part of a local Church, who give all kinds of excuses as to why they are not, often have issues with authority and personal accountability.

Has anyone read any of my posts about Celebration church, Or the pastor and marriage counselor, Mark Gungor?
I technically Do have a pastor.. Thanks to the internet I can attend his services whenever I want to! As well as, financially have supported him, sent in questions to Diane Briarely (sp?), And was friends with both of them on Facebook for awhile..
There are real people behind a computer screen.. You are not typing, "into the void.."..

If anyone from his comments section, or the group I was apart of for awhile wanted to take our relationship outside of the group, for fellowship in which case I have done that, too!

It may not just be your country. With the Internet we have the opportunity to seek out good teachers and find helpful web sites. However, one has to sift through a lot of garbage to find them.

As more and more people who call themselves Christian accept contaminated Christianity, deep fellowship will become increasingly rare.

Agreed.. It's my County, and Country.. There might be one, but they stream online already anyway. To go in person, I would want to skip all of the Worship and you don't have that luxury except online. Sad to say it's a luxury to skip the music part of church! It's everywhere, So it is!

How sad that what passes for "worship" in so many churches today has caused you to want to "skip worship." In the church of which I am a member, indeed in all the churches I have belonged to, there has been no idea of a group putting on a performance for the rest of the congregation, and calling that "worship." I have never been in a church that has a "worship leader." Are those the sort of thigs that make you want to "skip worship"?

Sad to say it's a luxury to skip the music part of church! It's everywhere, So it is!

I do not know much about streaming, but if you can download the entire service as an mp4 file, you should be able to play it on software like VLC and skip the parts you don't like.
