Click Bait - Using the shock value of a false story to lure the unsuspecting web serving into a never ending series of ads. I have seen pages like this eat up gigabytes of RAM and end up locking my computer. I have also spent a whole day depressed only to research and find out the whole story was fabricated and none of it was true.

Nothing is more frustrating to me than to watch a brief, exciting video on YouTube and then have it end just when the bad guy who mistreated someone is about to get revenged. That’s the exact moment we become “clickbait” when the computer screen tells us to see the rest of the story in the first comment or some other hard to find link.
