  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

I feel old...are you this old too?

I actually just bought a couple 200 page CD holders for a bunch of movies & tv shows on CD I have I don’t feel like trashing yet but don’t want the boxes they came on

I never really listened to music on CDs tho.

I still have my CDs, DVDs, and VHSs! I don't plan on getting rid of them. We need to keep the hard copies of things because digital things are taken away or lost so easily.

I feel old when I'm watching sports on television and have distinct memories of the coaches as players, knowing exactly what positions they played and which teams they played for and when.

I’m feeling old at 69, but that is mostly health problems that are normal. Mentally, I haven’t changed much since 40, but it does take me a bit longer to learn new skills. Closing in on 40 was a time that was a little troubling. You are not old and not young, but you look at the future a bit differently and wonder more about life choices in ways you didn’t when 25. Don’t worry you have another 40 years or more, God willing.
So far I'm the oldest, WAY older than 69, buy not tellin'.

Wow, after reading this, I feel like I am probably the youngest here? I didn't realize how young I was until today! =O

My grandmother is 92. She's so old though that she can hardly do anything anymore. It breaks my heart seeing her like that. I am actually amazed she is still alive, given her worsening condition. She's my only living grandparent, and I thank God every day she's still alive that I get to talk to her from time to time.

She once wisely told me: "You're only as old as you feel!" Because age is just a number, right?

Wise words from a lady as old as prehistory.

And that was when they were playing in their school teams...
