I was only referring to being said that everyone knew Trump and Vance would be a disaster in November 2024. Obviously 77,301,997 voters didn't feel that way at the time. As far as polls go, what did the polls say in January of 2024? I'm guessing they probably had Biden/Harris in the lead by a good percentage.un-huh. Check the polls. Trump has lost much of the HIspanic vote, and lost many Independents, and GenZ voters.
It’s been a bad stretch of polling for President Donald Trump. In recent weeks, a string of new polls has found Trump losing ground with key constituencies, especially the young, non-white and low-propensity voters who swung decisively in his direction in 2024. The uptick in support for Trump among those non-traditional Republican voters helped fuel chatter of an enduring “realignment” in the American electorate — but the durability of that realignment is now coming into doubt with those same groups cooling on Trump. Surveying the findings of the most recent New York Times-Siena poll, polling analyst Nate Cohn bluntly declared that “the second Trump coalition has unraveled.”![]()
Donald Trump's approval rating plummets with Gen Z
Souring sentiment among this pivotal voter demographic continues to be a defining challenge for the White House.www.newsweek.com
President Donald Trump’s approval rating has “fallen off a cliff with Generation Z,” according to CNN’s chief data analyst.Speaking on air on Wednesday, Harry Enten pointed to CBS News data showing it has fallen from +10 points one month into the administration in February 2025 to -32 points today....
Why It MattersGen Z, made up of those born between 1997 and 2012, played a pivotal role in the 2024 election when Trump improved his margin with young voters and returned to the White House.Less than a year later, data shows his support from this influential demographic has dropped precipitously, raising questions about the Republican Party’s hold on younger voters and the future of U.S. electoral dynamics.....In 2024, these voters identified with—or leaned toward—Democrats over Republicans by six points.By 2025, that gap had widened sharply to 20 points, which Enten described as the biggest shift of any group. He noted that while the overall electorate also moved, this increase was more than double the change seen nationwide and represented a significant swing toward Democrats. Many from that 77,301,997 regret their vote for him.
