CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Just denying something really does not make a good debating tactic, when the evidence is pretty easy to find.

Perhaps. The main part, though, is the evidence against him. And that's the part the judge and jury will decide upon.

Trump is always about himself, how that can be missed is not clear. Nothing significant happened, to him, but what a big deal was made of his ear being shot, and doing this while others had died. And people believed in him more, from what I see, just from what apparent miracle there was, sort of like many of the world being in wonder at the beast with a morally wounded head following after it in prophecy. I am not saying Trump is that but it is reminding me how those of the world are like that. That, and we see a totalitarian leader allied to dictators in this world in the making, this should be recognized by now.

Let us pray the Supreme Court comes to its senses soon and puts the brakes on letting Trump violate laws, invent his own laws, act like a law unto himself, etc. The poor prosecutors have been trying for years to gain entrance into the fortress of duplicitude.
