  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

OK. A bunch of Democrats are getting caught with their pants down. Grand. I hope we can get rid of all of them. And yet there are Republicans too whose pants are down. Would you approve of getting rid of all of them too? Or just the Democrats with their pants down?
You did not ask me but BOTH! And anyone in between

Shame on them. They need to be investigated.

Same with these fellows - from Google AI:

  • Les Wexner: The former CEO of L Brands (Victoria's Secret) has been identified as a "potential co-conspirator" in newly unredacted Department of Justice files. Wexner, who was Epstein's primary client for two decades, recently donated over $250,000 to Republican candidates and committees, including the National Republican Senatorial Committee.
  • Elon Musk: Documents released in February 2026 include emails from 2012 where Musk inquired about "the wildest party" on Epstein's island. Musk, a major donor to Wisconsin Republicans, has denied attending any such parties and called for the prosecution of those who committed crimes.
  • Peter Thiel: The tech billionaire and prominent GOP donor appears in emails released in November 2025. Epstein reportedly invested roughly $40 million in Thiel's firm, Valar Ventures, in 2015–2016. Thiel confirmed meeting Epstein a few times but denied visiting his private island.
  • John Paulson: Listed in Epstein's "black book," Paulson is a major donor to the Trump campaign and the NRCC. A spokesperson for Paulson denied any relationship, calling the inclusion of his name a "weak attempt to imply a relationship that never existed".

And there is Howard Lutnick, Steve Bannon, Dr. Mehmet Oz, Stephen Feinberg who is the Deputy Secretary of Defense in the Trump administration, and Sec. of the Navy John Phelan, and Fed nominee Kevin Walsh .

And per Pam Bondi, Trump is mentioned all over the files.

1) Richard Branson
The billionaire founder of Virgin Group and hot-air balloon enthusiast was all over the documents Friday, including a photo of him with Epstein somewhere in the tropics. (Not a good look anywhere, but especially not in someplace that might plausibly be, say, the U.S. Virgin Islands.)
Why would I care about him? Just another billionaire.
You see what he named all his companies? It kind of makes sense. Burn him.

(And as a furrinur, he couldn't even be a big-money donor.)

2) Brad Karp
The chair of law firm Paul Weiss may not sound like a big deal to you, but his firm is one of the most prestigious legal practices with ties to the Democratic Party. He also had ties with Epstein, asking him in June of 2016 to help his son get a role in a Woody Allen movie. (Another guy who was close to the disgraced financier, as we’ll get into later.)
Never heard of him until this story broke. Then I learned that he's the guy who surrendered to Trump's law firm extortion.

Burn him.
3) George Mitchell
A former Democrat senator from Maine who once served as Senate Majority Leader, Mitchell was close friends with Epstein long after his conviction in 2008. From the Journal:
First I was wondering how he could even be alive, then I realized it wasn't "Marshall", but "Mitchell". Can't say I am particularly familiar with him, nor do I care. So... Burn him.
4) Bill Gates
Long a favorite of the left, Gates’ ties to Epstein were long known. Not known were the accusations in the new documents that Gates apparently contracted an STD from “Russian girls” and asked Epstein for antibiotics to slip to his then-wife, Melinda, to cover up for it.
Long before "zuck" became the icon of "evil tech lord" there was bill Gates who got rich making an inferior product with monopoly power. He is the ancient enemy, so ... Burn him.
5) Kathryn Ruemmler
Yes, the White House counsel to former President Barack Obama was more deeply tied to the Epstein scandal than we originally thought.
Never heard of her before, so don't care, let her burn.
6) Sergey Brin
He’s a co-founder of Google, a donor to Democrats and leftist causes, and now ensnared more significantly in the Epstein scandal. From the Journal:

The Google co-founder appears in an undated photograph on a visit to a tropical destination with women’s faces redacted. Another document shows that one of Epstein’s accusers told the Epstein Victims Claims Administrator that she met Brin and his then-wife when they spent a day on Epstein’s island in January 2007 with Brunel, the modeling agent.
Once upon a time google's motto was "do no evil" (or something like that) in contrast to MS's evil empire. Well that changed. I'd rather break up his company, but if he's in the files that will have to do... Burn him.
7) Steve Tisch
Alas, even my beloved New York Football Giants have gotten ensnared in the latest batch of Epstein documents. One of the team’s co-owners, Steve Tisch, exchanged emails with Epstein, including (ugh) about women. From the WSJ:
Never heard of him before (and who knew the Gigantes were still an NFL team). Another bad NFL owner... (you know what come next) Burn him.

I'm willing to help. I can bring a torch or some kindling. Whatever is needed.

I'm surprised that Bill Clinton wasn't at the top of the list or even mentioned at all.

If only Democrats showed a propensity for using the DOJ to go after political opponents and those who the POTUS feels personally wronged him (without evidence). In actual fact, they have not.

And btw, there are several claims by young women (and I mean Epstein young) in these files of Trump assaulting them. What the law requires is congress to have access to those 302 claims and what became of them. Trump of the DOJ refuses to make the available to them per the law.

If the Biden administration had done something with the files in the four years they had them, that wouldn't be an issue now.

Is that supposed to explain why the Biden administration just sat on the Epstein files for 4 years to keep Trump safe? All of that highly incriminating evidence against Trump that should have been acted upon and wasn't?

I’m sure you can now understand the left’s frustration with their own ineffective leadership.

No, it was supposed to suggest that President Biden wasn't interested in using the DOJ to target his political opponents as Trump is doing.

It's entirely possible there is nothing to incriminate Trump in those files. Except that his continued avoidance of releasing them, according to the law, does cause one to wonder why.

-- A2SG, could be he's just protecting his buddies, which isn't exactly what he was elected to do....

So if Biden wants to sit on the files it's because he doesn't want to target his political opponents. And if Trump wants to sit on the files it's to protect himself. Right. Politics. Politics as cover for the whole under age sex ring. Protect your own.

In this list of mainly billionaires (a pox on most of them), Karp and Ruemmler have already resigned and Tisch is under investigation by the NFL.

What have been the consequences for Trump Administration figures?

If you want my opinion, I doubt President Biden gave the files any thought at all, Epstein being dead and all. He probably considered the case closed.

And if Trump wants to sit on the files it's to protect himself. Right. Politics. Politics as cover for the whole under age sex ring. Protect your own.
Maybe you can explain why Trump continues to fight tooth and nail against releasing them, then?

I guess it is a perverse little pleasure to watch the parties providing cover for their own by attacking the other party.

Why didn't the Biden administrator release them? Some really noble reason? Not wanting to attack the other party? C'mon. It's a train wreck for both parties. Or at least it should be if everybody wasn't trying so hard to protect their own. Including the Democrats.
