CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

The bottom email from the Epstein camp sent on February 19, 2013 is requesting the get together.
The top email from the Musk camp sent on February 20, 2013 suggested lunch and gave available days.
Both camps are wealthy and normally have assistants/secretaries handle scheduling. Pretty much the norm once you reach a certain position. Where I'm at, the Admiral has a Flag Secretary who runs his schedule.

Records Show Trump Commerce Secretary Entered a Business Deal With Jeffrey Epstein After Epstein’s Sex Crime Conviction
Justice Department records show Howard Lutnick entered a business agreement with Epstein years after publicly saying he severed ties, with contact continuing into the late 2010s.
Four days [after the 'Nice Seeing You' message above], on Dec. 28, 2012, Epstein and Lutnick signed a contract agreeing to acquire stakes in a now-defunct advertising technology company called Adfin. The agreement lists nine shareholders. Epstein signed on behalf of Southern Trust Company, Inc., while Lutnick signed for a limited liability company called CVAFH I. Their signatures appear on neighboring pages of the contract, which was released by the Justice Department.

Goldman Sachs' top lawyer Kathy Ruemmler to resign after emails show close ties to Jeffrey Epstein
Up until her resignation, Ruemmler repeatedly tried to distance herself from the emails [written to "Uncle Jeffrey"] and other correspondence and had been defiant that she would not resign from Goldman’s top legal post, which she had held since 2020.

Emirati billionaire resigns as CEO of logistics firm following Epstein revelations
The billionaire CEO of logistics giant DP World has resigned following the disclosure of his communications with the late sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.Sultan Ahmed bin Sulayem, an Emirati billionaire, stepped down from the company on Friday, "effective immediately," the massive global supply chain and logistics company said in an announcement.
The move comes after financial groups in Canada and the U.K. earlier this week announced a pause in their investments with DP World
Bin Sulayem and Epstein maintained a free-flowing exchange of emails that ran the gamut from workshopping financial proposals to rating sexual conquests, according to the DOJ files.

Norway's former PM charged with gross corruption over Epstein links
Former Norwegian Prime Minister Thorbjørn Jagland has been charged with "gross corruption" over his ties with the US sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, police have said.The charge was brought after the Council of Europe lifted Jagland's immunity, which he enjoyed because of his past diplomatic role. He denies criminal liability and is willing to cooperate, his lawyer says.
Økokrim requested the Council revoke his immunity after it launched an investigation earlier this month into allegations of gross corruption made against him between 2011 and 2018.
The so-called Epstein files appear to show instances where the late financier covered the travel expenses to his properties for Jagland and his family.
The Nordic country has seen several public figures drawn into the widening scandal, including Crown Princess Mette-Marit, diplomats Mona Juul and Terje Rød-Larsen, and chief executive of the World Economic Forum (WEF), Borge Brende.
Mette-Marit gave a "profound apology" to Norwegians for her friendship with Epstein, after it emerged they had exchanged messages for three years.
Mona Juul and her husband Terje Rød-Larsen are also being investigated by Norway's Økokrim for "aggravated corruption" following Norwegian media reports, that each of her children would receive $5m (£3.6m) in a will allegedly signed by Epstein days before he died.
The WEF ordered an independent review into Brende - who also served as the Norwegian foreign minister - over his interactions with the paedophile.

Steve Bannon courted Epstein in his efforts to ‘take down’ Pope Francis
Messages sent between the pair in 2019, released in the massive document dump last month, reveal Bannon courted the late financier in his attempts to undermine the former pontiff after leaving the first Trump administration.Bannon had been highly critical of Francis whom he saw as an opponent to his “sovereigntist” vision, a brand of nationalist populism which swept through Europe in 2018 and 2019. The released documents from the DOJ appear to show that Epstein had been helping Bannon to build his movement.
In his messages with Epstein, Bannon references “In the Closet of the Vatican,” a 2019 book by French journalist Frédéric Martel that lifted a lid on secrecy and hypocrisy at high levels of the church. Martel created a storm with his book by claiming 80% of the clergy working in the Vatican are gay, while exploring how they keep their sexuality secret.
Bannon showed an interest in turning Martel’s book into a film after meeting the author in Paris at a five-star hotel. In the messages, Bannon appears to suggest that Epstein could be the film’s executive producer. “You are now exec producer of ‘ITCOTV’ (In the closet of the Vatican),” Bannon wrote.
