If my neighbors were illegal immigrants, then I would be happily applauding their deportations.
Bad enough for me to vote them out of office and also protest peacefully without breaking the law.

That’s horrible man. Applauding people having their lives turned upside down. How well do you know your neighbors? I’m glad I don’t live next to you, and I’m a citizen but I figure if you’d heard my mother’s accent, you’d be suspicious of her too.
That’s terrible. Honestly. Most Americans are still struggling to pay their bills. I guess God’s grace only goes so far.

Yeah like the 3000 federal officers dumped into their city. These protests didn’t come out of nowhere. They are a direct response to the federal presence in the city. That’s where the escalation started.
The pepper spray directly in the face has been seen repeatedly from these ICE/DHS thugs. They seem to enjoy doing it too. This isn’t law enforcement. This is violent thuggery. Pure and simple. People see these things happening across the country and so when ICE finally does show up in their neighborhood, yeah the people are already opposed to them. Rightfully so. They don’t have the support of the public they are policing and that’s making their jobs harder on them and more dangerous for the rest of us. A change in approach would be wise.
I guess it’s good then, the Biden administration never sent his federal agents to flood your city and force everyone into compliance with their policies.
