CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Would they have gotten him eventually? Perhaps if everyone just left ICE alone they may have gotten him. But with 15 million illegals its going to take a while to get them all. And even longer the more the radical leftists work to prevent it.

I think what we have here is another example of lazy journalism. Journalists in both sides fail to do proper research. This article should have given us ALL the information on this guy and how it works. If he was here legally we should be told that. If he was revoked we should have been told that and why.
This is why people do not trust the media today. It sounds like this guy was legal at one point was put on probation until the paperwork was completed?

This was a local tv news person. It's possible that the reporter foolishly based the story on the DHS press release which was, um, inaccurate whether deliberately (as so often has been the case of late) or negligently.

On Feb. 5, ICE arrested an illegal alien semi-truck driver issued a commercial driver’s license by Pennsylvania who killed four innocent people on Feb. 3, when he swerved into oncoming traffic and struck a van in head-on collision.
All too often in these cases, DHS has put out counter-factual accusations.
Immigration parole is different from criminal parole. Being on immigrant parole simply means being allowed into the community and allowed to work while awaiting the resolution of his application.
It's more than a bit unrealistic to expect all information to be known in a breaking story. News articles are not encyclopedia entries.
You're right - any media that takes the word of DHS for anything is shoddy. The current federal government has no credibility in its statements, its criminal cases or anything, really. There can be no presumption of credibility, accuracy or normalcy with this administration.
It's sad.

To where? I would argue that wherever all the men, regardless of race, are deported to, there you will find a utopia of excellence and freedom. Everywhere else, you will find chaos and dysfunction. Look around your world, it doesn't matter what part of the world you live, it was all built by men. So take men away, and all I have to say is "good luck" while I pull out my popcorn and watch the show.

I dare say you’re correct in that the world would be vastly improved if those who shared your beliefs in the superiority of men all went off together, somewhere far away from the rest of us. Let us enjoy our Super Bowl halftime shows, absence of toxic masculinity, and social and physical autonomy. Take Kid Rock with you. A world where we don’t choose the bear sounds pretty ok to me.
