Name all them 613 laws in the torah you talking about! All 613 Mitzvot listed in the Torah. I just posted that for you in my previous post.
And yet Jesus tells us in John 13 that this is a new commandment. Why is that? What makes it new?In the days of Jesus, the religious leaders were constantly questioning Jesus in order to test Him and on this occasion a lawyer asked Jesus what is the great commandment?
Matthew (22:35) Then one of them, which was a lawyer, asked him a question, tempting him, and saying, (36) Master, which is the great commandment in the law?
Jesus reply was the 1st great commandment was to love God and the 2nd was to love ones neighbor. These were given as a commandment for man to love.
Matthew (22:37) Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.
(38) This is the first and great commandment. (39) And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.
One should note that by following the 1st and 2nd great commandment they will be adhering to the 10 commandments issued by Moses. If they love the Lord they won’t have any other Gods before him, or make any graven images or take his name in vain, they will remember his Sabbath and if they love their neighbor they will honor their Father and Mother and they won’t kill or commit adultery or steal or bear false witness nor will they covet. This is why Jesus goes on to state that on these two commandments hang the law and the prophets. Because by fulfilling these two commandments one fulfills the law.
(40) On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.
Jesus stated that these 2 commandments where the 2 great commandments however the following verses will show that these commandments were not new and that the Jews and Jesus was speaking to were aware of them. These were the same ones issued to Israel by Moses.
Deuteronomy (6:5) And thy shall love the Lord thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy might.
Leviticus (19:18) Thou shalt not avenge, nor bear any grudge against the children of thy people, but thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself: I am the LORD.
Now that it has been established that man was commanded to love one needs to examine the scriptures to get an understanding of the love required in these great commandments.
There you go.Name all them 613 laws in the torah you talking about!

None of the things you posted above are relevant. They have all been proven false by the early church's own writings. You want to continue practicing Roman Christianity that on you, but there not not one Bible verse or scripture that will help you. Christianity | Definition, Origin, History, Beliefs, Symbols, Types, & Facts | Britannica The Roman emperor Constantine I (died 337), a convert to Christianity, introduced the first civil legislation concerning Sunday in 321, when he decreed that all work should cease on that day, except that farmers could work if necessary. That law, aimed at providing time for worship, was followed later in the same century and in subsequent centuries by further restrictions on Sunday activities. See also Sabbatarianism; week.
Hx. Book, World Scope Ency. Vol. 11 'Sun Worship'
Sun's day (Sun worship) the first day of the week was established as the day of worship by the Catholic Church. Sunday is kept by most as the
Christian Sabbath day to replace the Jewish Saturday Sabbath. Caucasians (Whites) and Egyptians worshipped the "SUN" and attributed their gods as Sun gods.
The sun was the main god of the heathen even back as far as ancient Babylon. Since they worshiped the sun on Sunday, the compromising church leaders could see that if they changed the Sabbath from Saturday to Sunday, it would accomplish several things. Number one - it would separate them from the Jews who were hated by many of the Romans and who, along with Jesus, And he taught in their synagogues, being glorified of all. And he came to Nazareth, where he had been brought up: and, as his custom was, he went into the synagogue on the sabbath day, and stood up for to read. (Luke 4:16), had been worshiping on Saturday from the beginning (and still do today). Number two - it would make it much easier for the pagans to come into the church if the Christians met on the same day that the pagan world did.
It worked well. Pagans flocked in by the thousands. Satan's plan of compromise was doing its baleful work. The change was attempted gradually but many of the true hearted, loyal Christians were alarmed. They came to the leaders and wanted to know why they had dared tamper with the law of Almighty God! The church leaders knew this would happen - and they had an answer ready. It's a masterpiece. If a person doesn't know the bible well it sounds good.
The people were told that they were worshiping on Sunday now because Jesus rose from the dead on that day.
There's not even one verse in the Bible that tells us to do this, but that's what they were told. Isn't it amazing!
This is false, Christianity did not become the state religion under Constantine. When Emperor Constantine became a Christian, Christianity became the state religion you remember.
You haven't copy and paste scriptures and verses yet, so I understand what you saying.
When Emperor Constantine became a Christian, Christianity became the state religion you remember.
You haven't copy and paste scriptures and verses yet
You continue your usual trick of dodging my points (as well as the points of others). You don't offer any actual evidence outside of the mention of where one can see the law in question, but its existence wasn't in dispute. When Emperor Constantine became a Christian, Christianity became the state religion you remember. As thousands of sun-worshipers flocked into the church, it wasn't long before they had a dominating influence. Most of his top officials had been sun-worshipers. Because the Roman government was getting shaky, Constantine consulted with his aides and with the church officials in Rome.
"What shall we do? How can we unite and stabilize the government?"
The counsel of the church leaders was timely.
"Pass a Sunday law. Force everyone to cease work and honor Sunday."
That was it! It would satisfy the sun-worshiping pagans, and unite pagans, Christians, and the Roman empire as never before.
The year is 321 A.D. Constantine, yielding to the suggestion of church leaders passes the first Sunday law! Here it is, straight out of the record:
"Let all the judges and town people, and the occupation of all trades rest on the venerable day of the sun" Edict of March 7, 321 A.D. Corpus Juris Civilis Cod., lib. 3, tit. 12, Lex. 3.
You continue your usual trick of dodging my points (as well as the points of others). You don't offer any actual evidence outside of the mention of where one can see the law in question, but its existence wasn't in dispute.
Beyond that, your post is just a bunch of stuff you spout off with no evidence. Christianity was never the state religion under Constantine (all he did was give it legal protections), even if this inaccurate fact is commonly made. And then the rest of it is a bunch of speculation with no evidence given. And indeed, you have on multiple occasions posted the above text before, which people have pointed out errors with, so it's not very good that you post it all again even when you should know better.
People suppose to be followers of Christ, but now in these days Paul words are more powerful. Paul says in 1 Corinthians 1: 12 Now this I say, that every one of you saith, I am of Paul; and I of Apollos; and I of Cephas; and I of Christ. 13 Is Christ divided? was Paul crucified for you? or were ye baptized in the name of Paul? 14 I thank God that I baptized none of you, but Crispus and Gaius; 15 lest any should say that I had baptized in mine own name. If Paul can see how people using his letters today, again Jesus. Now again let’s see what Jesus Christ did on the seventh day of the week. Jesus returned in the power of the Spirit into Galilee: and there went out a fame of him through all the region round about. And he taught in their synagogues, being glorified of all. And he came to Nazareth, where he had been brought up: and, as his custom was, he went into the synagogue on the sabbath day, and stood up for to read. 30 But he passing through the midst of them went his way, 31 and came down to Capernaum, a city of Galilee, and taught them on the sabbath days. 32 And they were astonished at his doctrine: for his word was with power.(Luke 4:14-16, 30, 31)But others have already pointed out the errors here. But there's another problem people haven't mentioned yet, which is this is another case of you copying someone else's (inaccurate) claims word-for-word without admitting it. For, as a search found, this entire post of yours is copied from someone else. More specifically, it's from chapter 4 of A. Jan Marcussen's book "National Sunday Law". This book tried to claim that there would soon be the titular "national Sunday law" which would require people to not work on Sunday and those who defied it would be persecuted and eventually killed. The book is filled with inaccuracies, such as the ones already discussed. As for its "national Sunday law" claim, that has no shortage of implausibilities. Marcussen in 1989 was apparently convinced it was absolutely imminent, at least according to this writer recounting an interaction with him ("I remember well the Sabbath in 1989 when SDA Pastor Jan Marcussen, author of National Sunday Law, came to our church and spoke with great solemnity: "Time is so short that a small child could count the number of months.""), though his apparent failure on that front hasn't stopped him from continuing to promote the idea. Now, you haven't been promoting the overall "national Sunday law" claim of the book that I have seen, just copying some things from it, but given the apparent issues with both him and his work, perhaps he is not the greatest source to appeal to?
It should be noted the above is not the only thing you have copyed straight from that work in your posts in this topic and elsewhere in this forum (and on other forums other than Christian Forums, for that matter) without any attribution as well, and those tend to not be any more accurate than the above and to make similar errors. Marcussen does not appear to be a reliable source, as shown by his repeated errors that you have reproduced and which have been responded to.
It's not very good to copy inaccurate claims (especially when people have already corrected you on them), and it's not very good to copy someone else's claims without mentioning you're copying (especially after people pointed it out previously and you said you would stop). Yet you've done both of these repeatedly.
Where is the source for this information?Nope, as @Valletta said that’s totally false, Christianity did not become the state religion until AD 390 during the reign of Emperor Theodosius, at which time he smashed the Altar of Victory and closed the Pagan Temples.
Indeed as you have been told repeatedly, most of the Roman Emperors of the fourth century were not even Christian (in any form); rather, every one, except for Julian the Apostate (a neo-Platonist who tried to revive Paganism but made the mistake of releasing St. Athanasius, the Patriarch of Alexandria who as Protodeacon to St. Alexander of Alexandria, defended the actions of his Patriarch in anathematizing Arius at the Council of Nicaea, leading to the Nicene Creed. Unfortunately, from Constantius through Valens, was a non-Christian heretic, an Arian, that is to say, someone who denies that Christ is God Incarnate, contra John 1:1-14, and many other scriptures (the list of scriptures attesting to the deity of Christ is vast so that denial of the Incarnation in our modern era requires groups like the J/Ws to intentionally mistranslate the Bible, and others like the Unitarians to deprecate its importance, but in antiquity scriptural literacy was less, and Arius wrote catchy songs to promote his false doctrine, which he taught to sailors, who spread it around).
What St. Constantine did do was convert to Christianity (although he was not baptized until the end of his life, which was at the time not uncommon, and was baptized by the Arian heretic Eusebius of Nicomedia, who had finagled his way into the court and even managed to have Arius officially rehabilitated, but before Arius could partake of the Eucharist while blaspheming the Trinity and the Incarnation, he was struck down in the restroom of the Hagia Sophia of all places by a severe indigestion. Which calls to mind the warning given by St. Paul in 1 Corinthians 11:27-34.
St. Constantine did also personally convene and act as neutral president at the Council of Nicaea, a not voting chairman, but his reasons were because he feared the dispute between the Arians and those who we would now recognize as Christians would destabilize the Empire, in which respect he was correct, but mainly owing to the fact that he vacillated and did not enforce the acts of the council and allowed himself to be deceived by Arians who falsely accused St. Athanasius of murdering a layman (St. Athanasius was released from exile after the clergy in Alexandria were able to locate the man and present him alive to an Imperial legate).
Lastly it is the case that St. Constantine did use his power and influence to further the cause of Christianity; his mother, St. Helena, who had been a Christian for some time, was given the funds to restore and rebuild Jerusalem, which under Constantine reverted to its historic name and was repopulated (since the Bar Kochba revolt of 130 AD Jerusalem was largely in ruins and largely uninhabited, with all known Jews and Christians expelled, serving as Aeolia Capitolina, the center of Imperial projection in the province of Syria Palestina (which consisted of the former province and client state Kingdom of Judaea, and the adjacent lands of Galilee and Samaria, and roughly corresponds to the modern day Holy Land divided between Israel, Egypt, Jordan and Palestine). Jerusalem under St. Helena was restored, the Holy Sepulchre, located, the True Cross, recovered, and also likewise the Church of the Nativity solidified in nearby Bethlehem, among other sacred places.
However there is a difference between a Roman Emperor favoring a religion, and making it *the* state religion - the practice of Paganism remained widespread with an altar to the goddess of victory remaining in the Curia (the meeting chamber) of the Roman Senate until Emperor St. Theodosius gloriously smashed it 65 years after the Council of Nicea and a bit over 50 years after the repose of St. Constantine. It was St. Theodosius who stopped the flow of the blood of animal (and in some cases human) sacrifices to the demon gods of the gentiles (Psalm 95 v. 5 LXX “The gods of the gentiles are demons”, the Masoretic version, Psalm 96 v. 5, reads “The gods of the gentiles are idols,” but the former reading is to be preferred because Christ our God refers to the diabolical altar in the ancient city of Pergamum devoted to Zeus and the other Olympian deities as “the throne of Satan,” and the Masoretic reading is also obvious (I mean, naturally the gods of the gentiles are idols, this goes without saying; actually an ideal reading would probably be “the gods of the gentiles are the idols of demons” except - well, it was more than just idolatry, for ancient Paganism, like modern day neo-Paganism and other evil religions, included theurgy - acts whereby a hierus or sacerdos or pontifex of the Pagan religions would summon a demon who would engage in preternatural activity, by which many were, and still are, fooled into belief in these evil religions. Still more were deceived with slight of hand and other trickery which one sees among various Far Eastern religions and various New Age Cults (and some heretical offshoots of Christianity that deny the Trinity or other essential doctrines) even now.
Thus, the act of Theodosius in forcing underground and to the margins the pagan religions, closing the grand temple complexes across the Roman Emire, from Alexandria to Londinium, and from Lusitania to Lebanon, and from Trier to Antioch, Carthage to Constantinople, Rhodes to Rome, was a great and glorious thing, not something for Christians to regard with shame.
Ample evidence from history shows that the celebration of Sunday originated from pagan practices of SUN WORSHIP. In March of 321 A.D., the Roman Emperor Constantine, who was at first a sun-worshiper and later a Christian convert, issued the first decree declaring Sunday to be a legal day of rest. In 336 A.D., the Roman Catholic Church officially changed the observance of Sabbath to Sunday for political and economic expediency. Since then, the original Sabbath gradually gave way to Sunday observance and the practice remains to this day. World Scope Volume 11. People would face death if they worked or sold on that day at the behest of the Catholic Church. This is false, Christianity did not become the state religion under Constantine.
Thank you, but let's see....There you go.

A List of the 613 Mitzvot (Commandments) - Judaism 101 (JewFAQ)
A list of the 613 mitzvot (commandments) that are binding on Jews.www.jewfaq.org
Nah you can’t get away from this that simply. The present day Jews are not Christians and neither were the OT Jews so your argument fails from the get go. Secondly, the reason why I posted that particular resource is because it provides the Bible book and verse for each one of the 613 commandments which is what Rambam compiled. Rambam did not write the Bible nor the 613 commandments of the Jewish law. That honor goes to Moses in the 15th century BCE. So if you want to debunk this then you better address each one of the 613 and its corresponded biblical citation. Good luck,Thank you, but let's see....
- Jewish tradition teaches that there are 613 commandments
- This is the list of 613 identified by Rambam
- The order and organization is my own
So these came from Jewish people, but let's see what the book say about these people call themselves Jews or Jewish. Let's go into Revelation 2: 9 I know thy works, and tribulation, and poverty, (but thou art rich) and I know the blasphemy of them which say they are Jews, and are not, but are the synagogue of Satan.
The real Jews which are the twelve tribes of Israel are still in captivity to this day.
God promised the Israelites that if they failed to obey him, he would curse them and eventually have them removed from their land and carried as slaves into every nation upon the earth. Israel failed, and God kept his promise.
After the Israelites were remove from the land of Israel, it was left as an empty vacant lot, with know inhabitants. Now, if one can understand that any land which has been emptied of its rightful owners can be claimed by any nationality of people that have power or permission to settle in and possess it, then it should also be easy to understand that nationality of people Which move in it and take over the land can assume (adopt) the culture, history, and even call them self by the name of the people that the they have replaced. After a long period of years, that nationality would be accepted by the rest of the world as being the original and rightful inhabitants of that land. This would especially be true if the original people of the land had been move by force, and carried off as slaves. Such is the case of the real Israelites (Jews)!
