President Donald Trump travelled on convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein's private aircraft "more times than previously has been reported", according to newly unsealed documents relating to the disgraced billionaire financier.
One trip allegedly included only Trump, Epstein, and an unidentified 20-year-old woman as passengers aboard the plane. Trump's name appears hundreds of times throughout another set of files made public by the Justice Department.
These latest disclosures emerged just one day after Trump faced questions about the documents, prompting him to make a statement regarding Bill Clinton.
The email further implies that Trump may have journeyed alongside women who could potentially serve as witnesses in the prosecution of Epstein's associate, Ghislaine Maxwell.
The message states: "For your situational awareness, wanted to let you know that the flight records we received yesterday reflect that Donald Trump traveled on Epstein's private jet many more times than previously has been reported (or that we were aware), including during the period we would expect to charge in a Maxwell case."
Specifically, he is recorded as a passenger on at least eight flights between 1993 and 1996, including at least four flights where Maxwell was also aboard.
