You don’t find it strange that the guy didn’t remember having a daughter but can remember when and where he was beaten several times?
The Agents clearly wanted to deport this guy, if they ask about his daughter, yeah, I think that I wouldn’t remember my daughter too, until I knew that the “danger” had passed.
Empathy is sometimes innate, sometimes not.
And they only mentioned head trauma, no other injuries. No other injuries during these multiple beatings?
I’m sorry that the news story didn’t go into more detail about what other injuries that he may (or may not) have had. He
did have a head injury, that’s usually enough to get a detainee into a hospital.
Don’t get me wrong when I say that misinformation on these kinds of political issues are a dime a dozen that includes both sides. It’s gotten so bad nobody can believe anything the media says anymore because republican or democratic, it doesn’t matter they’re both liars.
No, we can still discern “the truth”; if someone is unable to assert that, perhaps the reason is (for instance), the truth isn't something that they wish to believe to be true.
I know that the earth spins on its axis and this creates day & night, but boy does it still looks like the sun travels around us.

I remember back after George Floyd was murdered the media claimed that the police shot and killed an unarmed man with his kids in the back seat of the car. But when we finally watched the video it turned out to be a very different story and the officers actually did everything they could to keep the guy from reaching into the car to grab a knife that was in the floor of the driver’s side.
I don’t think that the shootee died in that one.
The cop was practically tearing the guy’s shirt off trying to pull him away from the car and shot him because the guy grabbed a knife and was within arms reach of the cop who was trying to pull him away from the car. But the media didn’t tell anyone about any of that, no because police shooting a man who is struggling with an officer and grabs a knife isn’t controversial enough because that would be a justified use of deadly force.
I ain’t going to go look this one up, I vaguely remember it, but this is your “evidence” that we can’t trust what we hear in the media?
So yeah you’ll have to excuse me when I see things that don’t seem to line up with reality like ICE agents are acting like the KKK not only in public but also at their headquarters where there’s cameras and other staff members, not to mention that they’re not all a bunch of redneck hillbillies they’re made up of all races and the type of people who would do something like what the article in the OP is suggesting and the type of people who wouldn’t report that kind of behavior are extremely rare in this country.
While rare, there’s clusters of them in certain places and professions.
So yeah you’ll have to excuse me for exercising a little common sense and being a bit leery on swallowing everything that’s fed to me by the media. The only reason the media reports garbage propaganda is because they have no accountability and there are plenty of people out there that are so eager to believe it as long as it aligns with their particular political agenda.
Cynicism isn’t for everybody, it takes years and it’s not much fun.
