  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

Lina Maria Orovio-Hernandez, 59, who has been living in the U.S. without legal status for 20 years, was convicted of multiple identity theft–related offenses, including falsely using a Social Security number, making a false statement on a U.S. passport application, aggravated identity theft, receiving stolen government funds, and fraudulent voting, according to the U.S. Attorney’s Office.

Glad she did not draw a woke judge.

Voter fraud is one of those things where there's definitely some bidirectional exaggeration.

One side claims: "It's happening so much, it's changing election outcomes"
Other side claims: "It's virtually non-existent" (and then tosses out an absurd, comically low number in the double digits)

The reality is, we don't know the exact extent of the problem. (because, how could we?, it's a relatively anonymous infraction with the way things are set up)

My gut feeling is that it had no impact on the outcomes of the 2020 election (it would take a pretty compelling body of evidence to back up the assertion that there were 6 million illegal votes cast), but it certainly wasn't as ridiculously low as some people claimed either. (Like when Malcolm Nance would get on TV and say "There have only been 14 confirmed cases of voter fraud" between soldier of fortune cosplay sessions)
