? Lol. No. You're bringing us right back to the original point that I've made before. In the eyes of theistic evolutionists, the literal interpretations of Genesis is not scientifically concordant.

I've said this several times now, but the core and fundamental position of theistic evolutionists is hermeneutical, it's not about science or scientific evidence or even our faith.

It's about things like genre and historical or cultural contact, and exegesis.

We could talk about a million concepts of modern science, but it would have no bearing on core hermeneutical concepts at play.

The debate truly has to start with the Bible.

Again, scripture is written through an ancient Israelite context, the text says nothing about material origins.

I tried to start off with this point and it sounded like you didn't really want to talk about it.
