CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I was just sitting here thinking about and pondering all the bad things currently happening the world. I have often wondered, when will Jesus come back and vanquish all evil? Bring your goodness to us, Lord. We need the forces of good to triumph over the forces of evil. Amen.

I've told myself several times that I need to buy new books. Then I tell myself that I can read Roger Daltrey's memoir in the event that I finish a book and need something to read.
The problem is, I always forget I have that book. And it's not even a big book either. I bought it back in 2017 and never finished it.

I have been stuck in the hospital for 2 weeks now. All I wish for is to go home. On a positive note, I have already read through a few old books of which I haven't had time to read in years. I also was able to crochet a hat and slippers for my new baby who will be here soon.

Oh goodness, hope you're okay!
On the topic of reading, I have rigged my stylus pen to "gesture" turn pages while reading books on my tablet, so while I'm on the treadmill, I can harry potter style, magic wand, turn pages and read actual books. I have managed to read 3 light novels in the last two weeks. I'm currently reading a mystery in the Cameron Winter series by Andrew Klavan.

I currently have an article in progress about women and the United States. I decided to work on it today, hoping it would be near finished...but it's not. I've encountered a problem, and a section will need to be rewritten.

I recommend watching YouTube videos on writing resumes. My experience has been that the old way of fashioning resumes doesn't suit the current work situations; the videos have helped me.
