This may come as a shock, but most human beings have two hands, and it only takes one of them to hold a phone, leaving the other free to do other things. Like direct traffic, or help fellow protestors who have been shoved to the ground.
The rioters are the ones making the situation dangerous. The ICE agents would be able to safely do their job (as they have in many other locations) if it weren't for them.
Was he a traffic control officer? Was he a road construction crew member? Or was he just another one of the troublemakers that were there to help out his fellow troublemakers? (Hint: It's the 3rd one.)
They also have one brain to make stupid or wise decisions, and 2 feet to take the person to either where they should be, or into places where the brain should be telling him to stay away from. Too bad his feet and brain didn't coordinate very well.
Question: Is this hypothetical happening while his fellow cops are being attacked on a minute by minute basis?

They're also complaining that a woman was shoved by an ICE agent. But what's the difference if it's a woman or a man being shoved? Women and men are equal and there's no differences between them. It might have even been a man who believes he's a woman. And here they are assigning gender to someone who isn't even here to defend him/her self.
Because it was a woman who was shoved. If it had been a man then people would say that ICE shoved a man. Maybe you would prefer the more woke “person”?
From what I saw in the video, she came running up from behind him, then came around front and immediately blew a whistle just inches from his face. Then he shoved her.
I'm looking out for the feelings of woke protesters. Don't invade my safe space!
The whistles were originally to warn criminals that ICE was coming (obstruction). Now they use them to blow right in the face of an officer (assault). And that's when they're not carrying guns with enhanced sites and extra magazines.
That will be decided by a grand jury, after all the facts of the killings have been gathered.
They're trying to do their job. The mobs in the streets are attempting to hinder them from arresting violent criminals. Do you think Christians should support police, or should they support criminals and criminal behavior?
Don't try to make this personal. I haven't killed anyone, so what am I supposed to be remorseful over? If you mean "emphatic", that's different. I can understand how a persons death affects those around them. I've had empathy for women who have been lit on fire and stabbed in the neck by illegals just for using a public transportation method. Women who have been raped by illegals also deserve empathy, and part of that extends to wanting to see the perpetrators be arrested and deported from this country. Too bad the so-called protesters don't have such empathy. They are too busy showing how much they hate our law enforcement officers.
"Leading" (whatever you mean by that) doesn't mean agreeing with you.

Look at the videos of the two killings. Do you think they'd be in any danger of consequences without those videos?
