The videos that I've seen show that he wasn't doing anything threatening prior to the attempt to arrest him - just standing on the side of the road filming before ICE agents approached him and they got into a verbal confrontation. He's not holding a gun or otherwise displaying one.

And it's not clear because of the video quality, but it sure looks like he was disarmed (what looks like a gun is removed from his waistband/the small of his back by an agent) before he was shot.

Federal agents involved in deadly shooting in Minneapolis were acting in self-defense, DHS says

The Department of Homeland Security said federal agents involved in a deadly shooting this morning in Minneapolis were acting in self-defense, saying the man who was fatally shot “violently resisted” their attempts to disarm him.

The department said agents were conducting a targeted operation against an undocumented immigrant “wanted for violent assault,” when an “individual approached US Border Patrol officers with a 9 mm semi-automatic handgun.”

Here is a thought -don't fight Federal Law enforcement. especially when armed.

And sure don't fire it!

A law enforcement source who spoke with CNN separately said a struggle ensued between agents and the man who approached them. Agents attempted to disarm the man; a struggle ensued, and the man grabbed his gun and fired a shot,

He had a camera (cell phone) and was using it. Relative to ICE that is a weapon of mass destruction.

The DHS is tax payed. the "left wing America hating MSM" is payed by customers.
The DHS hast the judiciary apparatus at his disposal and can jail or discharge people.

He died for his cause. Anytime there is a gun involved, the odds of getting shot is never 0%. But if you screw around with law enforcement, you drastically increased your odds of getting shot. This may come as a shocking surprise to some liberals, especially the wife of Renee Good, but LE actually have lethal ammunition in those guns. So again, play stupid games and win stupid prizes. How many more people have to die before they figure out that they are not just larping as some liberation force and are actually playing a deadly game?

Thank you so much for posting the link - the video shows the Federal Law Enforcement Offices trying to arrest the man resisting with violence - at the 20 second mark you can plainly hear his gunshot with the officers withdrawing and then returning fire.
