CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

The protesters enter a full church - 1:30 seconds later - the church is all but empty - they didn't all leave for the buffet - they were intimidated out of a house of worship. And that is illegal.

There are people, even on this thread, who think this was a harmless thing to do. Traumatizing children is a good thing!
Cannot be allowed. They will be doing this in every church across the country if it is normalized. These folks have no conscience. No decency. No fear of God whatsoever.

If the church is all but empty then they didn't obstruct the entrance preventing people from entering or leaving.

I will agree with the majority that going into churches is at the minimum bad protocol. I don't know if it is illegal, but willing to see it as a possibility, perhaps case by case.
That said, I don't think it was coincidental that this event (stunt) took place after policy changes were made by Homeland Security.

I disagree, whatever is meant by "churches", I'm glad the Feds "check" the churches. Too many abuses by "churches", again, whatever that means.

So if the church is empty seconds later then the entrances were not obstructed and people could leave freely.
My personal opinion is that this is going to come down to some sort of trespass charge when all is said and done. They were not targeting the church for sole purpose of preventing worship, they were bringing attention to the actions of one pastor who they feel is harming the community all week and then ministering to them on Sunday. If it were my pastor I'd like to know, and I think this could have been handled better, but that may not be the case for everyone.
