CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

The morning after losing the election, Clinton conceded and asked Americans to give Trump a chance. On the other hand, after Trump lost the election to Joe Biden, he sent a mob of insurrectionists to overthrow the certification of the election. C'mon.
All documents are man-made. But tell us which of the allegations in the Steele document have since been disproven? According to fact-checkers, some are true, some are unproven, but none have been shown to be untrue. What do you have? Checkable sources will be expected.
If you have no idea, feel free to ignore the request.

Technically, the criminals who pleaded guilty or were convicted of collusion with Russian agents (such as Flynn who lied to the FBI about his contacts with Russian agents) were not guilty of treason; they mostly got caught in covering up or lying about it. Trump pardoned all of them who might have had information implicating him.

As I recall, the original concern was that he had been acting as an “agent” (lobbyist) for Turkey, without formally telling anyone that he was, which is required by law, for private citizens. (Good thing he was retired because doing this as an active service member, could be construed to be real-actual treason.)
Whilst the FBI was investigating that tidbit, he withheld information, because I’m fairly certain the questions asked of him were along the lines of “…and the work for Turkey was your only ‘foreign-entanglement’?”
Though I think if he was asked directly if had had talks with Kislyak he would have fessed up.
Had he doubled down and not told the White House Counsel after the election, it might have never come out. In Washington, D.C.
Now that would have been an entertaining political week, but we’ll never know!

Keep in mind given that limo incident and what was told to Cassidy Hutchinson, the Secret Service denied it happened in public, but refused to make those same claims under oath.
