A swarm of anti-ICE protesters burst into a St. Paul, Minnesota, church in the middle of Sunday service and accused a pastor of working with Immigration and Customs Enforcement.

The demonstrators with the Racial Justice Network stormed into the Cities Church and called out resident pastor David Eastwood, whom they accused of moonlighting as the acting field office director for ICE in Minnesota.

A David Eastwood is listed as an employee with the field office, but it’s still unclear if that is the same man as the Cities Church pastor. The Post has reached out to the Department of Homeland Security to check.

I knew a guy who joined the police for the same reason. It did not go as he thought it would go. Ultimately he realized outreach and compliance with unethical practices are a dichotomy he couldn’t reconcile.

That doesn't necessarily apply to all such attempts. But the point is perhaps his association with ICE is along the lines of what his detractors would actually approve of. Don Lemon being a journalist could have interviewed him to find out, instead of pulling that ham-handed stunt.

The people in the church have rights also - protected by law.

Lemon sort of interviewed pastor David Eastwood during the BLM chaos. The accusation and reason for the intrusion, is because someone named David Easterwood is serving as the acting director of the ICE Enforcement and Removal Operations (ERO) field office in St. Paul, MN.

The names Eastwood and Easterwood seem to be mixed up one way or the other. So it's unclear if the pastor at Cities Church in St. Paul, MN is also a St. Paul ICE employee.

Lemon ceased to be a reporter long ago... if he ever was one.
He is a activist/agitator.
My wife was in the newspapers for 20 years. One thing they knew was that newspaper people have no more rights than anyone else. Anyone reading this can do anything a newspaper reporter can do. The point being, you cannot agitate and then hide behind the "freedom of the press" clause. You are subject to the same laws as everyone else.

No doors bashed in.

LOL, that is one of the most oddest conclusions. If you want to understand the Bible, the Christian is the last person to consult. You will notice two things here. There is no counter to the reality Jesus in his own words excluded non Jews. And two, no you don't understand what Jesus stood for. Just fact the Christian sentiment here is to ignore Jesus, a refugee, words of speaking up for the least of us and took to task the same authoritarian group of his day who used their authority as a rode block.

See, this is exactly the reason why Trump(and I don't support him or his chaotic Ice raids) got elected in 2024. Progressives always go too far when they have even a good cause. Houses of worship should be off limits for protests, most especially after the acts of violence that have happened recently, such as the church shootings in Minneapolis, Synagogue burnings, etc.
How would progressives like it if after a terrorist attack a group of protesters stormed a Mosque accusing the Iman of being in on the terrorism or a group of Proud boys storming an AA church accusing the pastor of being a leader of BLM inciting violent riots,ect. I think the FACE act would be on the table immediately! And I would agree! The FACe act should apply here, sorry.
So, houses of worship should be off limits and sadly will have to keep their doors locked during services.

ETA the bad thing is I'm afraid there will be a retaliatory church storming.
