  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Very simple. This is a clear case of domestic terrorism and should be prosecuted as such.

Flagrant FACE Act violation. Hopefully the DOJ stops sitting on their hands and arrests every participant of this
They should also include the instigators of this behavior, all the way up to the mayors, governors, and congressmen.
When investigating these terrorists, it needs to be established where they got the idea that they could do this.
Prosecute.

Jesus literally said he came solely for the house of Israel. What do you think "house" meant? Gentiles? No. It's the lost tribes or also refereed to the nations of Israel. Jesus referred to gentiles in the common vernacular at the time as pigs and swine. He literally told his apostles to avoid them when spreading his good news. He often described them as being looked down upon. Revelations is not talk about gentiles, they are talking about the tribes of Israel. Jesus had no intention of referring to gentiles.

btw, you're undermining your whole point. You're initial response was contextually it was, well to quote you, "The context is about believers looking out for believing Jews during the tribulation." Now you're saying Jesus teachings encompassed everyone.
I don't want to derail, but your perception is quite disturbing.

The house of Israel are "the first fruits of His increase."Jeremiah 2:3.This passage describes the nation as being holy to the Lord and set apart as the very first and best portion of His harvest. Metaphorically, this means that Israel was the first group of people consecrated to God, serving as a sign that a much larger "harvest" of other nations and people would eventually follow.

In John 10:16 Jesus Christ of Nazareth said, "And other sheep I have which are not of this fold; them also I must bring, and they will hear My voice; and there will be one flock and one shepherd."This is understood to refer to the inclusion of Gentiles into the family of God, which was previously centered on the people of Israel.

There is no verse where Jesus explicitly calls Gentiles "pigs" or "swine." He does use the term "swine" metaphorically in the Sermon on the Mount when He says, "Do not cast your pearls before swine" (Matthew 7:6), but this refers to anyone who mocks or rejects the gospel, rather than a specific ethnic group.

Next...
During His earthly ministry, Jesus highlighted Gentile faith as a rebuke to the unbelief He often found in Israel. He declares of the Roman centurion, “I have not found such great faith, not even in Israel!” (Matthew 8:10), and similarly tells the Syro-Phoenician woman, “O woman, great is your faith!” (Matthew 15:28). These specific commendations prove that while His primary mission focused on the Jews first, He openly recognized and honored the superior spiritual receptivity of Gentiles who sought Him.

Be blessed.

Without a proper investigation into what happened neither of us can really say this for sure.
On the other hand, you don't usually see massive cover ups unless there is a lot to "cover up."
Why has the DOJ not shared the information with t he investigation the state is trying to launch?
Why does the federal propaganda differ so much from all the video evidence from every angle?
They might have gotten away with it but they chose a victim who was young, blond, a mother of three, whose last words were "I'm not mad at you," delivered with a sunny conciliatory smile.

Again, relying on God for earthly things doesn't mean being stupid and not using the tools he gives us to protect ourselves and those in our care. It means the opposite.

The Bible says something very different from what you wrote.

Proverbs 3:5–6 “Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.”

Psalm 118:8 “It is better to trust in the LORD than to put confidence in man.”

Psalm 118:9 “It is better to trust in the LORD than to put confidence in princes.”

Jeremiah 17:5 “ Thus says the Lord: Cursed is the man who trusts in man And makes flesh his strength, Whose heart departs from the Lord.”

What you are saying is entirely unbiblical and based on man-made theology.

ICE does indeed accept proof of citizenship.
Then why have they thrown si many citizens in jail illegally. They are usually released after a few days with horror stories that would shock all who believe in justice and the rule of law.

I watched this on YouTube and ...
Any idea where the original video can be seen? It's not on Don Lemon's youtube page and all I've found are snippets.

Matthew 25:31-46 is not anti law enforcement nor does it support aiding and abetting those who have broken the law. What you posted is an out of context secular spin on scripture.
Jesus is speaking about how one treats the least of us, in spite of authority.

It has nothing to do with enforcing immigration laws and deporting those who break those laws.

In a caption to her Facebook post, she wrote, "Friends, Here is a clip of our demonstration this morning at Cities Church in St. Paul. David Easterwood is a Pastor at this church and the Acting Field Director for the ICE office in St. Paul. It's time for judgment to begin, and it will begin in the House of God!!!"
"Thank you to all of the activists who showed up + independent journalists Georgia Fort, Don Lemon, DawokeFarmer2, Brixton Hughes. First. I literally quoted Jesus saying who he specifically said who he came for. It was not the gentile. There is no reason to think John 10:16 means gentiles despite the late theological development that separates John from the others. John is the least likely portrayal of Jesus.

Second. Yes, dogs and swine is a metaphorical term for gentiles. Those terms are intentionally used because the listener who heard it understood it was a common derogatory term used for gentiles in Jewry. It was just common vernacular back then to refer to gentiles in those terms, and Jesus is no exception. In the "Theological Dictionary of the New Testament" you will find the word "dog" as “a common term to express Jewish contempt for gentiles.” In that day they would have known exactly who was being referenced, no apologetic required.

Third. The belief accounts of Gentiles in the power of Jesus healing, aka, I am more than just man, does not mean they are included in the impending Kingdom of God that never came. Don't know how many times it needs to pointed out he said literally that. Including the the Apocalypse of John visions.

My perception is fine. Context and the worldview of that time means everything.

The treatment of the lesser of us is far more greater than authority. Open your Bible and see how Jesus sees those of authority.
