PARIS/OSLO, Jan 19 (Reuters) - U.S. President Donald Trump linked his drive to take control of Greenland to his failure to win the Nobel Peace Prize, saying he no longer thought "purely of Peace" as the row over the island on Monday threatened to reignite a trade war with Europe.

It is America who has been burning the bridges. If you can’t see how America changed it’s relationship with the rest of the world since Trump 2.0 you are part of the problem.

I can say the same for you all. What I don't understand is that liberals all over the world and leaders were Russia, Russia, Russia, and yet the actions don't back their loud mouths. Yeah... that's what I'm waiting for. And I hope it comes sooner rather than later. It's pretty much the only avenue I see toward pumping the brakes at this point, and trying to establish some sense of stability in the economy and international relations.

Of course, he'll try to get tariffs through other avenues. But it should at least slow him down.

It's just such a shame it's going this way.

I am glad Trump was elected and I think he has done some good, but I think it's appropriate to be critical of missteps as well as praising the good.

Greenland is a NATO member and associated with Denmark, a country which rallied behind the US when it activated NATO following 9/11. This is not how allies should be treated, especially when it appears overwhelmingly to be less about defence and more about natural resources, especially now Trump has posted that because he didn't get given the Nobel Peace Prize he no longer 'feels obligated to think purely of peace', which is just childish and feels punitive because his ego wasn't satiated.

I hope he goes back to focusing on the threat of Islam, gender ideology and helping embolden foreign leaders in addressing the same by his example.

Dear Jonas,
Considering your Country decided not to give me the Nobel Peace Prize for having stopped 8 Wars PLUS, I no longer feel an obligation to think purely of Peace, although it will always be predominant, but can now think about what is good and proper for the United States of America. Denmark cannot protect that land from Russia or China, and why do they have a “right of ownership” anyway? There are no written documents, it’s only a boat that landed there hundreds of years ago, but we had boats landing there, also. I have done more for NATO than any person since its founding, and now, NATO should do something for the United States. The World is not secure unless we have Complete and Total Control of Greenland. When Trump beat Harris, I was happy. I thought he was the less evil choice. Since then Trump is proving me wrong
