  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

"If the corrupt politicians of Minnesota don’t obey the law and stop the professional agitators and insurrectionists from attacking the Patriots of I.C.E., who are only trying to do their job, I will institute the INSURRECTION ACT," Trump posted on his Truth Social platform.

The 11th Airborne is a good choice. They have trained for both cold weather and urban warfare. We can't have mobs destroying federal property and beating up those who support the law.

Trump wants to incite violence in Democrat run states so bad. Any and every way he can punish them for going against his will.

Abandoning “States’ Rights” as a conservative value, doesn’t look so good now, huh?

(I’d like to see Minnesota sue on Third Amendment violations, let’s dust that Amendment off, why don’t we?)

Mind reader? In fact the sanctuary cities were asked to turn over the criminals. ICE pleaded with them to turn over the sexual predators and other violent criminals, yet they refused. Criminals were released into the population rather than turn them over to ICE. ICE personnel were threatened. Then their families were threatened. Then operations were physically interfered with and ICE officers assaulted. All the while the Trump administration continued to ask their political leaders to tone down the violent rhetoric. They refused. Trump has shown incredible restraint, however, he has a sworn duty to hold our country and follow the law, that means not letting little kingdoms violate whatever federal laws they choose.

States have no right to violate federal law. None. Zero. Again, imagine the chaos if every city and state decided they should decide immigration policy for themselves. And why stop at immigration? They should work to win elections rather than launch slurs at those who don't agree with their political ideology.

Trump has been very clear that he intends to punish Democrat run states. Loyalty to Trump over the Constitution.

Where's the Jade Helm crowd now? Why aren't they screaming from the high hills about this?
Busy finding Obama’s FEMA camps?

Cannabis is still illegal per Federal law, yet, many states have it as okay to use recreationally…you sure you wanna ride this horse?

From its use prior to the civil war until now, cries of states rights from conservatives have been a for me not for the thing.

The Feds won't even take a marijuana case. They have no interest in enforcing that law unless there are certain circumstances

So you think cities deciding their own immigration policies is the way to go?

When the J7 rioters in Minneapolis take over and it's being allowed to happen (violence and all), why shouldn't there be punishment? Don't you think the residents of Minneapolis should be allowed to live peacefully without having to worry about people being violent and trying to burn it all down like the BLM rioters tried to do?

Immigration falls under the purview of the Federal Government.
While it is certainly reasonable for the Federal Government to solicit the assistance of the “several states”, that assistance isn’t a given.

He intends to punish the residents of Minneapolis be of their votes against him. That is the problem. Sending in the military will only make any violence worse.

Arresting those who commit crimes will calm things down and save some victims. Now they have interrupted a church service, Americans have a right to worship. "Defund the police" has been tried in Minneapolis and it was a disaster.

J7 rioters. As in January 7th? Killing of Renee Good - Wikipedia
Funny how the tables get turned. No, not funny someone died, like on January 6th of another year. But how history repeats itself with those who like to use history as a weapon.

This is bizarro. The "J7" violence is ICE killing a civilian. (She has a name that is how people are remembering the violence.) That is what happens on "January 7th".

How is that even equivalent?
