  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

I hope to see a lot of such individuals fired around the country. Violence is not the way.

No, it certainly isn't.

Well, when I say "no" I really meant "not unless you're James Rodden, the lawyer employed by ICE in Texas who runs a far-right twitter account that promotes racism and hate speech". Then it's OK, obviously.

Oh, and of course if you're a violent January 6th rioter, then it goes without saying you should get a presidential pardon. I mean, the rules are for other people, right?

Gotta love the left, which claims their violent riots are “mostly peaceful protests”, despite causing millions in damage and killing upwards of 50 people, as in the summer of “love”, and decries a mostly peaceful protest as a violent riot all because of partisan politics, where the only person killed on Jan. 6 was a Trump supporter. Where the Speaker of the House refused the support of the National Guard all because of optics, because that is so much more important than the safety of both the legislators present and the citizens gathered.

5 years later and we're still repeating that?

Why don't you guys ever point the finger at Mitch McConnell?

Firstly, whataboutism.
Secondly, if we’re going to play this game then remind us what happened Jay Jones’ political career after messages of him wanting to kill a man and his children were released.

This holier than thou attitude from the left doesn’t work.

How is the death of Ms Babbit the fault of the left?

Oh this old canard.
Pfft.

Yeah, wasn't she gunned down by the Trump administration?

Checking Calendar...

Hey, I'm (mostly) on the left and I say anyone who riots and steals and loots can go directly to jail, no matter what side of politics they're on.

You were doing so well up to this point, then you go and do the same thing you accuse some on the left of doing. Ahh sure, January 6th was "peaceful". And it's pretty obvious that "the only person killed on Jan. 6 was a Trump supporter" because they were the ones rioting.

Violence is never ok, regardless of political affiliation.

I’m not pointing fingers at anyone. I’m just keeping it real.
