CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Did I even alluded to human life being worth less than assets? Straw man much? Is violence restricted to assets? Do you think that the mom and pop stores that the agitators sometime loot have no victims? How about the cars that they light on fire?
And, btw, what is happening right now has nothing to do with Christianity. In fact I would posit that the worse violent agitators are not religious.

Again - can you provide a quote where he incited violence? My guess is the answer is "no".
And he used the F word once, did he not? "Profanity laden" implies that he used profanity many times. Either way, using profanity /= inciting violence.

Swearing is inciting violence, because you say so.
And his speech was profanity laden, even if he only swore once. Why? Because you say so. Not because of the standard meaning of the word laden.
If you can't make an argument based on objective reality, then you're better not to make one at all.

His words including his cursing incites violence because the intent is to cause public alarm and provoke nuisance action against a group of people, namely ICE but generally against all federal agents. That is not right. He should be the voice of reason and calm.
If you feel differently then that’s your right.

Again - can you provide direct quotes and reasoning to support this? As I said in my very first post, I could be wrong here - as I haven't watched the entirety of his speech. When you have been asked to provide evidence, you only say that he swore, and that his speech incited violence. How? Which words did he say that called for violence? You have not provided anything yet to support this, only your words and the fact that he swore. And then you seem to get upset when I don't just agree with you.

Watch it you are making the folks from the left face reality because until now they seem to have forgotten what inciting violence consists off or means.
Strike one. That is very clearly not what he said:
"We're in a position right now where we have residents that are asking the very limited number of police officers that we have to fight ICE agents on the street," he added. "We cannot be at a place right now in America where we have two governmental entities that are literally fighting one another."

Because he swore and told Federal agents to get the “blank” out of his city (or something like it). This as I stated has become a call to action by activists to confront, sometimes violently, federal agents. If you can’t see that then we have a very different definition of violence. Secondly, he does not have the authority to demand that federal agents leave Minneapolis so even his words are bunk. Words have meaning.

Yep. I disagree with Vance. However, any one can go knocking on doors but that does not mean that they have to open the door.
This reminds me of the old Soviet Cold War movies where the Russian soldiers or police would demand “your papers, comrade”.
