The Department of Health and Human Services is reinstating $2 billion in funds to address substance abuse and mental health after the department said it would cancel funds the day before, an administration official confirmed to NBC News.

The reinstatement came Wednesday after groups were informed Tuesday of the funding cuts, which were associated with the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration.

I thought the administration was trying to keep our country safe from narcoterrorism because we have a substance abuse problem in our country. I thought school shootings were going to be solved by addressing mental health. This administration is so confusing. It's like they don't know what they are doing. But I guess they reinstated the funding because they really do care. Our prayers have been answered once again by Trump. We are so blessed.

No, the administration it trying to keep us safe from fentanyl by going after a country that mostly produces cocaine.
